I've seen Flywheel, Facing the Giants and Fireproof many times. The stories of these movies that Sherwood Pics has made just touch and warm my heart each time I watch them.The BEST GIFT that's been given to me is knowing that Christ died for me and because he loves SO MUCH!!! I pray that God helps me to be a godly servant to Him!! I'm truly looking forward to COURAGEOUS coming to theaters next year because I know God is telling that he has poured his fatherly love down into this movie! WWJD

My daughter (age14) has watched Facing the giants at least 2 dozen times. Repeatedly with her unsaved friends. It is a life changing movie for her. This movie may not be something she watches over and over, but my son may when he gets a little older. Keep these wonderful movies coming!
We ALL were there every day, through our prayers. I am an old cripple, not as bad as the dad in Facing the Giants, but it hurts the heart to be disabled. Praying for Courageous bridges the gap! I am there as much as the rest of the folks around the world!!! AMEN!!

I love this movie. I first saw it last November. Me and a friend couldn't decided on a movie so we just randomly picked this one and I was instantly in love with it and the next day I made sure to tell both my dad and grandpa how much I love and appriceate them and how blessed I am to have them in my life. I also have this on DVD and actually watched it last night. It gets stuck and skips at Emily's funaral so I just skip that part. It's a wonderful movie and more people should watch it!
I do not want to wait until 2011 to see Courageous in my local theatre. Fireproof drove a stake through my selfishness and pride, and now I want to be a great dad and grandfather.

I enjoyed Fireproof and Sherwood's other movies, but Courageous was by far the best quality of them all. Don't know what the other posters were talking about, but this was a first rate "Hollywood big budget" quality production, acting, lighting, direction, stunts, action, everything was beyond reproach. If you haven't seen it yet, make time and find the money, because it is worth it!

I'm so thrilled you're taking on this project. I think the as a whole church has done a disservice to fathers and children by replacing their roll to spiritually train their own children to Sunday School, Awana, VBS, youth groups, etc. over the last 100 years. Many fathers think just dropping their kids off at these functions is doing their part. I can't wait to see this movie.

I saw this movie in a conferencess on 1/29/2011, it was shown by my church Saddleback. This movie changed totally the way I was doing my parenting in my kids. This movie is really powerfull and it's going to make you cry alot not just ones but alot. Watch this movie totally awesome. I'ts not cheese or lame believe me.

@CAutoC3 I recommend reading the movie novel. There is about another 1 hr. of film out there. The Conversation of Adam with his pastor goes on for about 5 minutes and not like 3 minutes.
Will this movie be released in Canada at the same time in USA? Will we have to wait until it is available on DVD as we did for all the previous Sherwood movies?

Thank God for the folks at Sherwood, 3 movies and they started so strong, even on such a thin shoestring and are only getting better through the grace of God! I would love to see about 40-50 churches give them a run for their money, though. Can you imagine how 10-15 God honoring, Christ-loving, true gospel teaching movies every year would effect our nation?!? =D
