    Most impressive, practical appearing, expression of Silat I've ever seen and I've seen about every instructor on youtube. Respect to Alvin Guinanao.

    Love SBL as always. Changing angles outside to inside effortlessly has always impressed me. The speed in these drills is beautiful.

      I have learned Boxing, Judo, Shotokan, Goju-Ryu, Silat, Wing Chun as well as military combatives in the British Army Infantry. I understand your frustration and I know that there are young people who have little respect these days but with all due respect, a true master of martial arts or combatives does not belittle others or look for a fight. Controlling our emotions and not letting the negativity of life affect us is the greatest skill. One of the reasons why the youth today can be so disrespectful is because many of the old generation look down on them in much the same way that you're looking down on this Silat teacher.

    beautiful movements, how would you safely spar with these techniques or do you only do drills?

    • @whanua98
      @whanua98 4 місяці тому

    Why throwing your arm down in round house middle kick like most modern nak muay are doing it that's not an "efficient" all-purpose silat move?
