There is no headphone port with the S22, meaning this only works with USB3 or USB to headphone jack adapters. It doesn't work with the regular speakers.
@@VegitoBlackityBlack that's weird, maybe they aren't a Hi-Res version . My AKG ones I got with my Galaxy worked but only when I attached a DAC/Amp thru Woojer Edge Vest .

For bluetooth audio settings you have to go to developer mode settings.

I think the uhq upscaler only works specifically for samsung type c headphone that came along with your samsung phone,any other earphone aside the original Samsung type c earphones that came with your samsung phone won't work

Actually, you're wrong. If you have a CODEC wireless earphones or earbuds (Especially Samsung Brand) You go to the Bluetooth screen, and select the earbuds/earphones then on the right hand side, select the settings for that specific earbuds. There you will be able to select UHQ enable.
If u are using Galaxy Buds the Buds got their own settings which similar to this UHQ settings.. Try it out..
Thanks,I'm using a uhd c upscale mic adapter from my mixing board to my samsung tablet s7+ for my mono mic and music in( for home singing videos).and need to start buying, another new usb c uhd and other cords because I'm getting a new "buz" sound .so did what you say and yes the samsung s7+ automatically switches from grey out to uhd upscale on.it does recognize the uhd upscale (for usb c uhd )headphone/microphone splitter adapters too.so looks like not a samsung audio settings( I might of forgot to do) problem .wanted to check before I start buying new cords.i'm thinking it's just a bad cord or bad adapter. It worked fine for about a year

Are you using the usb c 3.5mm adapter or the whole headphones that is made with a usb c ?
This won't work with the Samsung USB C 3.5 mm adapter.
My Samsung AKG usbc has some static in which I'm sure that it's gunine since I have the uHQ Upscaler enabled and that it came from Samsung, I have an s21

So I went and bought a usb-c adapter to use with some wired earbuds and the UHQ still will not light up and work. I can listen to music but it didn't change a thing. Any ideas???

Nope I never did. I bought some Status Audio Bluetooth earbuds and never looked back. Best money I ever spent. On my second pair now . Wore out the first.@@denj4s

This is SO useless! With wireless headphones you simply click on settings next the bluetooth and enable the highest supported codec for BT. For Sony's it enables LDAC.
It does not even work with samsung's official type-c - 3.5 adapter. So disappointed, been looking for this adapter everywhere, super hard to find. And I connect it with real hope, and it is not working...

now why did samsung do this shit? before android 11 update I was able to turn on my Note 20 Ultra the UHC Upscaler feature and adjust the Bluetooth Audio Codec LDAC quality while using my Galaxy Buds+... now this is very annoying and Samsung must make it able for us to use it again. this is Bullshit, i cant enjoy any video or music from streaming services with the quality I need. Anyone else have this issue?

Wrong, the Samsung Level-U Pro wireless headphones can have UHQ Upscaler enabled as well. I haven't found any other wireless headphones that can use it though.

Congratulations Samsung you have just proved you are even more ridiculous than when you came out with the 6edge and you packed it full of useless features that contradict the others such as this. I pay for this phone what I could have used to buy a car with and it doesn't come with a charging dock nor headphones which I am told is to "reduce e-waste." HOW the fuck does it reduce the amount of chargers and headphones thrown out when you HAVE TO HAVE BOTH THOSE THINGS FOR THE THING TO WORK! All it does is make another company "responsible " for it even though they are just as responsible without the need Samsung created to need to buy separate mandatory accessories it's all about the $'s and the fact they have this feature in order to use you must buy not just headphones but an adapter as the S21 ultra has only 1 port being a type c conveniently not the standard jack and top it off can't charge and listen with the headphones needed to use this useless waist of time, unless of course you buy a wireless charger...$$$$$🥳 incase you're wondering, that clown is me and anyone else who feels a little ripped #fukusamsungyagotme
