Rolling Stones Honk Compilation

Originally passed on this Stone compilation because I own all the songs on it from other releases but I came across it yesterday at a significant price reduction. So happy to own it now, it sound great.

Nice find! I hadn't heard of this compilation. What are your top stones albums to look out for? I'm a fan but don't own any of their music yet

Well The Stones have a vast catalog that consist of almost 6 decades of music so where to start is a daunting task. I say get a hold of any of their compilations or greatest hits albums. As for the studio albums here are some starter suggestions. For the 1960s Aftermath is their fist album of all original material and a good way to start off. Then there is the late 1960 to early 1970s classic period albums of Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Finger and Exile on Mainstreet. After that the next three albums Goat Head Soup, Its Only Rock and Roll and Black and Blue. After that Some Girls, Emotional Rescue, and Tattoo You. That will take you thought the 1980s. There is still lost of goodies after that but that is enough to chew on to start a great Rolling Stones music collection.
