A fraud that sold 5 million plus cars and built a massive network of EV chargers, transforming the landscape of the automotive industry? You can question whether the stock is overpriced, or whether the full self driving project will ever be completed, but calling it a fraud when the company is clearly profitable and successful in selling its core product (electric cars) is pretty mean-spirited, but hey, what else are you going to get from a short seller who has lost massive amounts of money on a losing bet, and needs to recoup his losses by pouring doubt on Tesla's future?

He’s a part fraud, part capable industrialist. He has the resources and business talent to build up credibility and perception of legitimacy to then be able to pull off the greatest stock pump-n-dumps in history.
@@cl5619 The stock market is a free market and people can do what they want with their money and their shares. BTW, what is this "perception of legitimacy"? Tesla is selling more EV's than every American car manufacturer combined. The only reason GM and Ford are still in existence is because they sell big trucks, SUV's and performance cars with V8's which only Americans want and can afford to run. But when the price of gas reaches $10 a gallon, those V8's will go away. In Australia, we are already at that equivalent price which is $2.50 per litre. Yes we have a handful of people over here who have the money and the machismo to drive around in F150 and RAM pickup trucks, but most people are either driving small Asian sourced ICE vehicles or EV's and the Chinese EV importers such as BYD, GWM, and SAIC are killing it, along with Tesla which recently sold more Model Y's than any other model on the Australian market. EV's are the future, and the only legitimacy that Tesla's competitors can claim is their long and storied history which will soon be exactly that - history.
If you ever saw that Simpson's episode about the Springfield monorail that sure reminds me of how people are taken in by a con-man.

Paraphrasing that last jab about the best-case scenario of seeing Elon in jail and the stock price in the teens made me laugh.
The point is to transion to make evs as good as ice.
And they will be much cheaper to buy and maintain once the infrastructure is in place.
That's good and all but they still need to be profitable enough to grow. They are yet to have the volume of sales like VW, Ford or Toyota to justify and offset low profit margins from EVs like these companies do. Plus the Chinese are developing and manufacturing EVs like crazy. Tesla would either need to create a revolutionary product as good or better than legacy manufacturers, pivot to alternative product offerings, or risk going bankrupt because they are quickly losing market share.
Mark should listen to his son who told him "Dad you should short when you're long, and vice versa" ....lol . Funny you guys never mentioned the fact that EV's cost 1/8 of fuel cost compared to an existing gas powered car when it's charged at home.. He is correct however about Elon. Elon is starting to lose it, some of the latest decisions he's making is questionable to say the least.

What we need is more Twikes - a perfect car for the under 20 minute commutes and shopping trips most people take. There's a reason why the Model Y is the best selling car in the world. indeed, Tesla's autopilot/FSD is far ahead of every other autopilot as is their charging infrastructure and over the air updates. For now, Tesla China is leading the way for FSD adoption in Asia.

Tesla is going into a higher phase with the Tesla Bot, FSD and AI. I drive on FSD everyday and never even touch the steering wheel. China has no FSD and the vehicles will not enter the US markets with 100 percent tariffs and no 7500 IRA. Its just not car company and the stock has done well for me. Everything this guys saids is incorrect!

EVs aren't a sustainable profitable business (as you can see with other car manufacturers, and yes, Toyota and Hyundai, which at best make hybrids, are dominating the market). Even BYD is creeping ahead of Tesla. You can only dominate the industry for so long before others takeover with cheaper and better design and technology. As per Space launch vehicle, Blue Origin and it's partnership are eating away at NASA contracts since they have a way better launch rate. Look it up yourself.
As for Musk, he is all talk. Where's FSD? Where's Hyperloop? Where's the underground highway network? Where's solar panel tiled roofs? Where's robotaxis? How about semi or next-gen roadster? I've driven the X and 3 models and the only thing I like about them is their autopilot feature. I hated the 3's speedometer location, it's too dangerous for me especially when I'm driving on roads in South East Asia.
