VIDEO NOTES
Thank you for joining me for this special episode having a nosey through my stash to celebrate one year of flosstubing! I hope you enjoy it 🐰
Thank you fro this video I loved all the cute animal patterns from Cross stich magazine especially all the christmas themed one with bunnies with scarfs and that hedgehog with long scarf. Also like Karen Carter designs.
I hope you do that halloween bauble soon and the bird in nest from Rustic style book.
Great video love all you're stash x
I loved seeing everything you have. You wouldn't believe how much I have! I counted 17 totes, full of kits. I keep buying more, too. I have so many magazines and charts. There is so many that I want to start. I'll never live long enough. I try to stitch everyday after work and sometimes at work, too..The Rolis kit that you showed with the row of ducks or chicks, what was the name of it? I loved it and would love to find it, to buy. Thanks
Happy flossiversary! So lovey to take a dive into your stash to see all of the wonderful things you have 😍 I love the patterns that you showed in your pink folder, who is the designer of the first few patterns with the drinks because they are lovely, definitely need to add those to my stash! 😍
The hippo and toucan drinks are by the designer Alexandra Kiselyova from her Alexa Kiss Etsy store but it is now closed as it was a Russian store. You may have success finding them elsewhere if you search by artist name.
I'm super late in watching this, but I just want to stay that I've really enjoyed watching your stash dive! I have a similar box full of threads and embellishment packs from Mirabilia so i could totally relate.
I've still not managed to do part 3, you've just reminded me 😆
Wow, that is quite the stash! I feel you on the organization--it's really hard to keep it organized as you keep on finding more things you love. I started out organized, but it rather quickly devolved into lots of random bags of stuff that haven't been organized at all.
When you get to your new place maybe you can re organise it as you unpack ☺️
@@CrossStitchBunny Haha, that's the goal! It's going to be a competition between my desire to intentionally organize as I unpack and a mad dash to adjust to the new job which starts imminently 😅
Happy floss tube anniversary! You certainly do have an ENORMOUS amount of stash and I love it!
Thanks for showing your stash, really enjoyed watching, looking forward to seeing part 2, have a good weekend take care donna x
Happy Flossaversery….May there be many more.
I ENJOYED the drive through your stash. Happy Flossaversary 💖💖
Happy floss tube anniversary. This is just the sort of video I love lol I love seeing all your stash and can’t wait to see the rest. I like the idea of printing out the covers of PDF’s you have to keep on top of what you have. I’ve invested in the bead storage you use x
Wow what a stash!!! 🤩🤩 I look forward to the next stash video!!
Happy anniversary. I've been watching from the beginning. Can't believe its been a year. Loved your stash dive video. Looking forward to part 2 xx
Well that was fun! I can’t wait to see the rest of the stash:). Happy flosstube anniversary!
Happy Flosstube anniversary! That was a brilliant video and also made me feel heaps better about my own mountain of cross stitch stash!! 😃 I used to do lots of Winnie the Pooh stitching, seeing those charts took me right back. I also have soooo many magazine cover kits too. Looking forward to Part 2 xx
Are you planning on making an organizing video of all these stitching goodies? I'd love to see that
Hi Angela, I may at some point but I need to change my storage arrangement before I do 😅 there is only so organised I can be with my current array of boxes. I'm hoping to change to a nice, large storage unit at some point 🤞
Happy Anniversary! That is one heck of a stash!
# stitchbunny Happy 1st birthday. Here's to many more .
Thank you Vicci ☺️🥰
Thanks for the video and happy flossy-birthday!
It’s always so interesting (and expensive) seeing other peoples stashes. My wish list has definitely increased after watching this!
Your nurge hoops. How do you stop the hoop from damaging completed stitches as you move it around bigger projects? I’ve bought a set but they just squash my stitches every time 😭 any guidance on this would be really appreciated. Thanks 💛✨
I don't do anything special with my Nurge hoops to stop damage to already stitched areas, I've not found that it damages my stitches so far. I mostly stitch things in them that will fit inside the frame though and I've only on a handful of projects moved the frame to cover stitches. I did that on my Ophelia's Pearl mermaid, over her tail and there were no adverse affects so I'm not sure what to suggest. Maybe you could put something over your stitches though like felt or even just a piece of scrap fabric of some kind, like people do with q-snaps to stop potential crushing? For things that are too big for the nurge, I sometimes switch them to a scroll frame eventually once I've exhausted the stitching area available so that also avoids the chance of any damage but lets me at least stitch a large part in my favourite hoops.
@@CrossStitchBunny thank you for your response and your time 🙂 I will have a look into what I might be doing wrong x
What an amazing stash you have. Can you please share the details of the otters chart I would love to stitch this. Thanks 😊
The otter chart is here mybobbin.com/product/forest-inhabitants-otter-cubs-cross-stitch-pattern/
@@CrossStitchBunny thank you so much ☺️
@@janehorne1171 I have it all kitted & ready to go & hope to start it next year at some point if you want to Start it together. Can't guarantee when I'll finish it 😅
I bought the full set of CXC thread and I don’t like it at all. There is a lot of inconsistency with the thread. It’s fluffy in some sections and thin in others. The coverage in projects looks ok but I’m literally only going to use it for back up when I’m missing a Dmc colour. I love this video and seeing how you store things.
Oh, I'm sorry you haven't enjoyed using it. I've not had any of those complaints with it yet, I've stitched two projects with it so far & I'm using it on a few other WIPs in progress. I've bought quite a lot of it so I hope I don't run into issues but time will tell! 🤞
