2023 University of Arizona Student Startup Winner - Abhiman

University of Arizona student, Abhiman, was one of the 2023 Student Startup award winners. Abhiman received a financial stipend and took part in a summer program to develop his startup concepts and pitch to professional biotechnology investors. Abhiman presented his concept Un-Afflict, a venture demonstrating how micro-choices can have macro-consequences, especially when it comes to long-term health outcomes. The Student Startup Residency program is currently accepting new applicants through March 22nd at forge.arizona.edu/studentstartups
Abhiman is an international student from Madhya Pradesh, India, and a Biomedical Engineering major in the University of Arizona College of Engineering. In creating his venture, Abhiman was inspired by personal experiences and what he saw around him. Un-afflict aims to help people prevent major diseases through habit-building, wellness groups, behavioral psychology, and AI integration.
