My portfolio doesn’t just cater to dividend stocks. I hold $VFIAX (S&P 500 index fund) in my Roth IRA and $VTI (Total Stock Market ETF) in my taxable brokerage account. Two of my largest holdings. The individual dividend stock positions all complement the index holdings.
I think the safest strategy is to diversify investments. Like spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown

Globalization didn’t only send manufacturing “to where it was most efficient”, it also sent manufacturing to China where poverty wages are paid and production is government subsidized, resulting in predatory dumping of goods worldwide. Globalization done within universally accepted standards of competitive behavior is mutually beneficial and concurrently disinflationary. It’s safe to say that’s not what is happening now.

I wholeheartedly concur; I'm 6O years 0ld, just retired, and have about $1,250,OOOK in non-retirement assets. Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. To be completely honest, the information provided by invt-advis0rs can only be ignored but not neglected. Simply undertake research to choose a trustworthy one....
Agree completely with this analysis. The question is “ is now too early” To shift investments to other alternatives. As many have said before the market can remain irrational for a long time.

Russel 2K EPS growth will be strong only for a year, as they are lapping Bad Bad prior year results. Assets are valued over long period, and of course, tech find growth drivers but than a gas station....
