actually having builderman replace garret makes a lot of sense because in the minecraft movie plot was leaked, and it said that when garrett gets back to the real world, he creates minecraft, based on his experience in the minecraft world, which correctly lines up with jack black saying the movie takes place before minecraft existed. this also really shows how much microsoft wants to erase notch from existence, going as far as to replace him with jason mamoa. imagine instead of jason mamoa, garret was just actually played by notch lol
