You know its gonna be a wild time when you have one phone thrown, one dad serious voice, 4 people hysterically laughing, and you haven't even left the driveway yet.
I love that you told him not to unbuckle her seat belt for her!! I work with children with Asd and it's refreshing to see how you guys handle her doing something inappropriate, and have expectations that are within her abilities. It's really nice to see you guys put in the work for her independence, even if it's small. I love to watch your guys videos. Tell Abby we love her!
This may be one of my favorite videos of Abbie. She is such a ham!! That girl is so dang smart. She makes me laugh so hard. Her communication skills are amazing. I absolutely adore her and all of you!!
When me and my family see a lady bird it's a sign that my uncle was with us and he loved lady birds so much 😊 and also i have autism and your videos make me smile 😊 thank you for what you doing. Your family are so inspiring 😊
100% my OCD is worse when my sensory needs aren’t met. My husband will see me doing my repetitive behaviors (plucking hair, pacing, “perching” high on chairs or couches, tapping, Involuntary echolalia) and ask me if I need sensory input to relax. Usually I need to listen to music VERY loud, or go swim, put my hands/feet in my bin of dried beans, pop bubble wrap, fold silks or rub silk scarves with perfume on my face, thumb a THICK magazine or book (the noise, feel and smell of thumbing the pages - NOT RIPPING - is soooo soothing to me. Once I get it out I can calm myself again
Isaiah's phone 🤣🤣 at least Abbie went and retrieved it 🤣 The look that she gave Asa 😂 I just Love her🥰 She was really communicating about getting in the front seat 🎉 but it didn't work 😊 All the things in the dog bed I know it's not funny but Asa looking at the empty shelves I was dying 🤣 she was just cleaning up 😂 Oh She's beautiful one of a kind Smile More 😁😁🥰
It makes sense she wants nothing out/minimalist lifestyle in house. With less "stuff" in the house, it clears the mind, and .awesome people less anxious!
lol 😂 Abbie is so stinkin adorable taking everything off the shelf and putting it in the dog bed. I know you guys are with the rest of us, wondering what really goes on in her beautiful mind. I love seeing her progress though. It’s been a true gift to watch her grow and become the incredible young woman she is today. I loved her picture with Summer too for graduation. Seeing Abbie’s progress with picture taking and props has been so fun. Thank you for sharing bits of your lives with us all ❤
My 29 yr old daughter got a notice for jury duty. I thought she would like how do I get out of this. She was excited and asking how to make sure she gets picked. Lol I instantly thought of Priscilla. Let her know she’s not alone there are others like her. Your family is great. So fun to watch. My dog is bed is in my walk in closet.
I feel shredding paper is like Abbie's fidget toy. Like you said, if she isn't shredding paper, her OCD behaviors increase. Or is it a sign that she's bored and looking for something to occupy her mind. Like playing games on my iphone is to me. It fills in the empty times and/or keeps me from thinking about things that cause me anxiety.
🤣😭🤣 absolutely cheeky Abby. Our non verbal handsome boy went thru a ripping up magazines, boxes, paper. We like you provided him plenty, then one day he just stopped. Never ripped up stuff again, but got deeply into coloring, however only 1 color per page, image meant nothing. He would color the whole page one color did that for a couple years, now he uses a couple colors but still does not stay in lines, or any kind of separation of colors. Just colors tell he covers the page, but uses different colors now. Goes thru coloring books though like a lot!
Abbie is such a little sister!! Lol!! Oh she so KNOWS what she is doing!! I was cracking up with you but glad you made her “right” it!! Still giggling though! She looked pretty proud of herself😂!
Having a really bad day today. Abbey insisting her mom was all done with the front seat had me in tears laughing. Thank you so much for that. Love her!💖
As someone with OCD, the magazine has become a mindfulness activity for Abbie. It's something that focuses her brain on a calming task. You'll probably find it also regulates her heart rate and breathing as well. When you're calm OCD can be much easier to manage. I struggle the most with my OCD when im anxious or over stimulated. I can spend hours repeatedly doing my OCD routine before bed and it takes longer the more stressed I get about it. If I've done some kind of mindfulness activity like breathing, or painting etc before I start getting ready for bed Im calm and some nights dont have to engage in those compulsions at all.
Oh, that's really interesting. My nephew has both, he's 12. Mainly he shreds things a lot so when the ocd pops up it's mainly verbal or stress type ocd, getting upset about the events not lining up to expectation. But there is some object oriented ocd too. We've never thought about giving him some paper to rip when he's high ocd though. I wonder if he would take it? He's mostly verbal but loses a lot of that when he's high ocd.
Funny how Asa acts like he doesn’t know Priscilla by now. Lol we have been watching for only 7-8 years and we know Priscilla celebrates and dresses for every holiday. ❤ should have made the boys change to match lol you guys are so cute. 😊
I never noticed my sons OCD corresponding to sensory input or lack there of, but now i will try to pay more attention to that cause I really don't like going on a impromptu scavenger hunt to find tv remotes, silverware and other knick knacks that aren't nailed down.
Yeah my ocd symptoms present more when I've not engaged in healthy sensory activities. Feels like a tightness in my chest until I do the things (like move stuff) and get relief.
I have sensory needs (SPD) and OCD and I wouldn't say ocd is higher relative to sensory needs that I've noticed but ocd is higher by far when my anxiety is higher ❤❤
I just had to comment on a few things...first, I've been following your family for about 5 years, and the INCREDIBLE growth that Abbie has, and is showing is INCREDIBLE! Looking back, she used to elope, and the growth in communication is astounding! You all should be proud of your hard work. Also, I commented on a previous video that @Pricillamaas may not want to work on the election because of the political tension right now. However, if it's something she feels strongly about, I think she should go for it...we shouldn't let the possibility of intimidation stop anyone from participating in the election process. We actually NEED more civic minded people, and I think it's great that Priscilla wants to do it.
My daughter turns off all lights and closes all doors. She also removes all wall decor from her room. I had a college student paint a mural of her favorites instead. Sensory doesn’t seem to make a difference.
you can tell she really understands....and people say people like her shouldn't be educated at public expense...but this is a result of that education. which makes her better able to be a part of society without being a burden in general (ie needing expensive institutional care because of a lack of education).
Dad, make Isaiah get the phone, what's going on here!🤣 That look! She wanted clean shelves!😂 My dog still sleeps in his cage. He would prefer my bed, but his body temp is way too hot and then I don't sleep!🤦♀️ My son's birthday is on Saturday!🥰🥰 Have a great Tuesday everyone!!💚💚
I had to rewatch to catch the phone incident in all it's gloriousness! My goodness, the sass in her! It's so "sibling-esque." Is she really going to be 19?
I suffer with Autisum and also have mild to moderate sensory issues. Depends on the day and the OCD part of me takes effect whenever it decides to. It has nothing to do with sensory part of me but my OCD is like the vloume on the tv has to be on a even number apart from if it ends in a 5 because that is the middle so it is allowed or i have to hve things in boxes and orgonaised which my ADHD part of me loves to annoy the Autisum OCD with because the ADHD part does not do organisation at all lol
I want to preface this question by saying I don’t have an opinion on it but wondering if making Abbie retrieve the phone after throwing it and everyone’s laughing, would Abbie pick up on the laughter do you think and perhaps not think that what she did was wrong?
You know its gonna be a wild time when you have one phone thrown, one dad serious voice, 4 people hysterically laughing, and you haven't even left the driveway yet.
😂
Great communication Abbie! Trying to get the front seat from Mom ❤😂
I love that you told him not to unbuckle her seat belt for her!! Really like that whole follow through with getting the phone. ❤
Agreed minus the whole car laughing at her.
@@Mglaser76 felt more like laughing with her to me. She was giving the snarky grin the whole time. Like it was a game to her. Just my opinion 🤷♀️
Wow! Abbie’s communication was amazing. She did so well ❤ The way she cleared the shelf and put it in her dog bed was so funny 🤣
I just love Abbie's cheekiness and sass in this one, so funny.
"How are you so athletic but not?" I lost it.
😂😂
😂😂😂 same
This may be one of my favorite videos of Abbie. She is such a ham!! That girl is so dang smart. She makes me laugh so hard. Her communication skills are amazing. I absolutely adore her and all of you!!
Such a sweet and fun family. Abbie such a sweet girl love watching your videos ❤️
That was such a sibling thing to do I have tears I was laughing so hard and Cillas EXTRA makes my soul happy.

You guys are hilarious! The ladybug, the phone incident, the shoes and the argument over the front seat! Fun Cinco de Mayo! ❤️
Isaiah's phone 🤣🤣 at least Abbie went and retrieved it 🤣 The look that she gave Asa 😂 I just Love her🥰 She was really communicating about getting in the front seat 🎉 but it didn't work 😊 All the things in the dog bed I know it's not funny but Asa looking at the empty shelves I was dying 🤣 she was just cleaning up 😂 Oh She's beautiful one of a kind Smile More 😁😁🥰
Go get his phone. And the look she gave dad was so funny.
1:56 I love how Abbie is saying so much through her expressions to her brother right now! 😂
When Abbie yeeted Isaiah’s phone in the back then did that squint face at Asa, I almost sprayed my ice tea all over my phone! Hilarious and adorable!
It makes sense she wants nothing out/minimalist lifestyle in house. With less "stuff" in the house, it clears the mind, and .awesome people less anxious!
Bwahahahaha!! She was just sharing with the pups!! I literally laughed so hard!!
I was rolling 😂😂 Abbie you were cracking me up 😂😂🤣❤️
This is my most favorite video! I enjoy watching Abby cut up. I just love your family! ❤❤
Oh Abby, we love you. I guess she thought Sandy and Maverick need them more.
lol 😂 Abbie is so stinkin adorable taking everything off the shelf and putting it in the dog bed. I know you guys are with the rest of us, wondering what really goes on in her beautiful mind. Way to go, Abbie!!! You're a Rockstar.... haven't laughed so hard in a while 😂!
After a hard week I needed a laugh. A very special person in my life just passed yesterday. So it’s been a very odd week.
@Cheyenne-vi6fi I'm so sorry for your loss 😢
My 29 yr old daughter got a notice for jury duty. I thought she would like how do I get out of this. She was excited and asking how to make sure she gets picked. Lol I instantly thought of Priscilla. Let her know she’s not alone there are others like her. Your family is great. So fun to watch.
My dog is bed is in my walk in closet.
I had jury duty yesterday and after 3 hrs they didn't need me.
I always felt like it was an honor to be chosen for jury duty. Tell your daughter that I admire her.
I was called to jury duty. I was called into courtroom with first group. Asked a lot of questions and was released. I was disappointed.
Abbie grabbing and throwing Isaiah’s phone was such a brother and sister in the back seat thing. I loved it 😂
never a dull moment with abby.
"She has a point. What even is this" was my thought too, I'm constantly wondering why did I even buy this? Or who gave this to me & why? 😄
I feel shredding paper is like Abbie's fidget toy. Like you said, if she isn't shredding paper, her OCD behaviors increase. Hi abbie and family, Priscilla i love your outfit its cute on you, hope y'all are having a wonderful tuesday and stay safe out there ❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗
All the therapy paid of. Never underestimate s child with Autism 💋❤️🎀❤️😁👍
With the stuff piled in the dog bed, was she perhaps messing with you? She seemed to be in a very fun mood. 😘
I laughed so hard when Abbie smirked after she threw his phone😅
Priscilla. You might have been mistaken for a waitress! 😂
The on screen text when Abby was at the car was great - I would have seen some of her speech but certainly not all of it. Thanks.
I am laughing and crying at her stubbornness of getting the front seat. Go Abby!!
This was a hilarious one! The moving all the stuff to the dog bed had me LOLing!!!
My daughter has severe health related OCD. Absolutely awful. I wish sensory things would be helpful. Love this video.
So sad, poor girl. The shoes did me in lol
Also love the shoe story 😂 haha and her ma saying "well okay where em like that, there your feet!" That's the best
Abbie is so funny I like the funny faces she pulls
Abbie is such a little sister!! Lol!! Oh she so KNOWS what she is doing!! I was cracking up with you but glad you made her “right” it!! Still giggling though! She looked pretty proud of herself😂!
I never put the two together like that ...thank you ! I hope I can help my ocd by using more sensory soothing :)
Having a really bad day today. Abbey insisting her mom was all done with the front seat had me in tears laughing. Thank you so much for that. Love her!💖
I hope your day gets better soon ❤ love from Australia
@@simmypoo Thank you! Big hug to you in Australia!❤
She looks like one of the ladies in Encanto!!!

LOL Love you Abbie I Beleave 😘😘😍😍 she is helping Clean
I’m dying 😂 all the stuff in the dog bed 😂
When i was a kid the dr had me wear my shoes on the wrong feet to treat my pigeon toes.
“The view from the back seat is great.” 🤣🤣I laughed so hard!
Love your dress Cilla
Bahaha Abby decided he was done using his phone. 🤣🤣
Abby telling mom get out the front seat sister! 🤪🤍
Hadnt watch your channel in a very long time and I see so much progress, congratulations on your hard word with Abby.
That was funny to that she told mom to get out.
Yes my ocd is deffinitly higher when i have more sensory needs. But also when i have been (almost) overstimulated earlier in the day.
Abbie is very sweet when she smiles
Funny how Asa acts like he doesn’t know Priscilla by now. Lol we have been watching for only 7-8 years and we know Priscilla celebrates and dresses for every holiday. ❤ should have made the boys change to match lol you guys are so cute. 😊
Happy birthday Abbie, my birthday is on May 20th.🥳🥳🥳🎂🎂🎂
Christmas from Perth, Australia ❤
Cilla looks beautiful!
awesome video, I LAUGHED OUT LOUD SO OFTEN.
my favorite holiday is Canada day
Abbie is like saying stay off your phone lol
Abbies cheeky smile is the best 🥰🥰
No OCD but a massive amount of anxiety. Sensory items help with the anxiety
I never noticed my sons OCD corresponding to sensory input or lack there of, but now i will try to pay more attention to that cause I really don't like going on a impromptu scavenger hunt to find tv remotes, silverware and other knick knacks that aren't nailed down.
Abbie chucking the phone haha how did u keep a straight face 😂😂
Yeah my ocd symptoms present more when I've not engaged in healthy sensory activities. Feels like a tightness in my chest until I do the things (like move stuff) and get relief.

I said it before Priscilla did "it's not a costume it's an outfit"!😂❤❤❤
I am not autistic but I do have OCD. When my schedule is off or if I don’t have a plan of the day my OCD takes over it can be so frustrating for me.

Lunar New Year!
:27 Isaiah and Asa doing the same head tilt and almost saying the same thing.

LMBO ABBIE CUTTIN UP
Hilarious FAMILY
It's hard to be serious when Abbie's making her squinty face 😖😂
My son is ocd but to put everyone else stuff away but his own.
Oh Abby! You were hilarious today!
Abby’s sassiness was out tonight.
When she said I wear this dress there is photos. Are all the photos on May 5th?
I like her dress. If she doesn't mind where did Priscilla get it? 🤔
Abby you are so cheeky 😂
And sometimes a bag egg.
But I still love you
The squint!!! She knows 😂😂
And, Isaiah, as an O'Malley, mine is also St. Patrick's Day!
I loved Priscilla's dress.
You guys had me cracking up!
Love you too moon and back

Bugs are so fun🐞

It’s my birthday on 11th lol I’ll be 34 and have autism…..
Haters that’s a beautiful dress

Irish so St. Patrick’s day. Plus it was my dads birthday. I do the same routine everyday. If I’m gone on vacation I’m lost .
I want to preface this question by saying I don’t have an opinion on it but wondering if making Abbie retrieve the phone after throwing it and everyone’s laughing, would Abbie pick up on the laughter do you think and perhaps not think that what she did was wrong?
