Congrats my friend in Christ our Lord. So happy for you. Would love to hear how you were saved. Was it a friend, a missionary or a dream or how? I work with VOM who help those in countries where Christians are persecuted for following Jesus or due to converting to Christianity after being Muslim. Perhaps God can especially use you to convert other Muslim's since you know all about your own conversion and the risks of converting to Christianity and the risk of the family not being pleased, etc. For more info go to www.percecution.com to get info especially about former Muslim's now Christians who work with other Muslim's helping to share the gospel. I usually don't tell people this, but as your shared your lovely testimony, I felt our precious Holy Spirit speak to my heart that perhaps this would be an awesome area where your past can be your purpose. God generally uses our past to be our message. In Revelation 12:11 the Bible says that we "Overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY, and they loved not their lives unto death." (Caps mine) This means that we overcome things in our lives by Jesus' blood which covers our sins, by speaking about our testimony (as you did) and even risking our lives in doing so...(in the case of a former Muslim telling family or friends or other Muslims which has resulted in their own death), and that we love Jesus more than our own lives. Yes, I live in America where, for now, we can still speak freely. California is banning the Bible, so very soon it may be illegal in the USA to say your a Christian and every Christian may die a martyrs DEATH. SO BE IT. HE DIED FOR ME FOR MY SIN...WHY SHOULD I NOT DIE FOR HIM? AMEN. Just a thought for you to consider. YOU have a wonderful purpose for your life friend. Pls check out VOM (Voice of the Marytrs.) besides, where is it quoted or stated in the Bible that men are supposed to be pampered pls?
it irritates me when I heard ppl say men are supposed to be pampered which is the other way round in the Bible.
