Nand gives Kanha a present as Vatsasura comes to meet Kansa on his demand. Kansa tells him to see Krishna in Vrindavan and hurt him. Vatsasura agrees and promises to complete the task given by Kansa. Nand's stick for Krishna as a "Gau Balak" makes him very happy. Nan and Yashoda then get to know that all the other children had demanded to go with Krishna, who promises to protect them from all of the dangers. Vatsasura waits for Krishna in the woods.
