Yes, we got rid of big names but with who we brought in I think it was more of a sideways move as far as talent. The biggest difference is Wilks is gone and Nick Sorensen takes over as DC, hopefully he's ready for the job. He'll have Brandon Staley backing him up but his scheme was similar to Wilks' and you saw how he did with the Chargers. So, I think we're good on talent, TBD on coaching.
The best stat for any defense is at least one shut out and the lowers points allowed for the season. If Wilkes focused on the teams weak point, the run would have been more robust.
