just as demented and pounding as it was in 1967
Gosh, I love this man's voice! He's insanely talented!!!!
This guy is... Just so... Awesome!
i realize I'm kind of randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to stream new series online ?
@Kristopher Alexis Thank you, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I appreciate it !!
I think this is the best rendition of this fantastic song. Very well done. Mr Cale
Cale owns this song! He created the Velvets sound but was never credited for that due to Lou Reed.
my impression is that both he and lou got more than enough credit for the music. all the members were crucial to the band, though, and these incredible records probably would have never existed without andy warhol.
Not one single band member "created" the sound. They were both vital, as were Moe and Sterling.
@@Alan649 agreed. A band is a band, not a solo act. Each member is as critical as the other. It's sad most people don't understand that and see it as some sort of competition
This is so fucking powerful, more people need to see it!
I was there. First line. A dream
I like V.U., but it took me until MFANS to love Cale. Took me another twenty years to see him live for the first time: 2005, "Black Acetate" tour. I wasn't expecting this: Cale opening with "Venus in Furs" playing the electric viola. Blew me.
He is so genial, his voice+🎻.....is more than ....
Holy shit.. John Cale is a beast!
That was... absolutely, bloody awesome. Good book too. Old Sacher-Masoch eh? What a card
It's very moving, considering there's only Moe and him left.
Bing Sinatra
Yule is still alive as well, but of course not from the Venus in Furs era
Wobderful musicman, i wish you a long life❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was there. I’m a huge fan of Mr. Cale. Before the show, for 7 months, I’ve been sending messages to Cale to come to play to Buenos Aires from different Facebook accounts. I think I definitely influenced this show: his one and only in Buenos Aires. Such a deep and magic moment
awsome tribute to the man
Sounds great wow
¡¡Algo realmente Maravilloso!!!
SPETTACOLARE !!!!
Sublime!
素晴らしいです。
Yes, there was tension and disagreement between Cale & Reed. Yes, Cale did not receive the credit he was due. Yes, Reed was a my-way or the highway kind of guy. But the disharmony, fighting, and disagreement acted to make them create more and better stuff together than did separately. Some of their best stuff came from their tense and unhappy collaborations. Overall disharmony produces more than harmony does.
Awesome!
The greatest song!
Grande......
I had so much Luck to see the guys with Onkle Lou in Amsterdam. Every weekend 300km on the freeway and full of happyness and other stuff to Amsterdam.
Wowwwwww
Hermoso
Shocking then and shocking now. But hey, it's just part of the human condition. That's the point as far as I'm concerned. Don't judge lest thee be judged. Great song and great album.
Holy cow.
💙
Um verdadeiro hino ao BDSM
💜
That's monstrous..but in a genial way
It is irish, great❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
No, John Cale was born and brought up in Wales and the music influence sounds quite Eastern European in origin.
Version grandiose!
Topnotch
Potente!
Can anyone tell what pedal effects the violin is running through?
Not specifically but it is definitely an overdrive or gain pedal of some sort
This is the You Tube Cube With Teeth and hello John heh heh heh Rose Garden ? Been in the Desert The Gun Desert Mineral of Sores Gun Desert (?) Mineral of Sores
The viola was the best part pf this songzita missing here in the performance
Versi striscianti che assecondano il bisogno dell ' istinto sadico
Music for depraved nihilists, all of whom would run at the first sign of trouble.
❤❤❤
His acoustic version of this song is like a medieval folk song needless to say ingenious
True !
Exactly what I thought
Yes absolutely, Cale in very talented as a musician.
yes i was noticing that with the Paz Lenchantin version... it sounds like eastern european ancient folk
