I've only ever played two eve trial a year or two ago, and never really pvped. Is there any reason to kill a pod? It just seems like the only reason to do it would be the lowering of security status.
@GleebTorin As i see it the guy was in your fleet but not in your corp, thats why you took GCC... you could have just simultaneously flipped each others cans which means you would have both gotten agression at the same time... so no 1st shot advantage!
@Tonvir999 Killing a pod has many tactical advantages, including increasing the cost of a loss for the target, and removing them more permanently from the field of battle. Unfortunately, most people just do it for bragging rights and to be a dick. :P
