It just goes to show that Pleasure Island is really a death trap.
You I never thought anything could top the animated film as far as creepiness but those donkeys are some uncanny valley stuff

This "innocent" looking place called Pleasure Island has other names its known by which include
Land Where Dreams Come True,
Terra Magica, Fun Forever Land, Land of Toys, and Toyland. But as we all learn, it has a sinster purpose and is cursed with "donkey fever."
In Italian culture, the donkey is symbolic of ignorance, stupidity, goofiness, and labor. So the moment the kids choose to be sinful and bad over honest and hardworking, they're physically turned into donkeys, aka made jack-asses out of themselves. When the children become donkeys, the Coachman and his minions would sell these donkeys to farms, salt mines, circuses, and markets.
The moral of the animated original and this live action adaptation of this sinster place is that those who avoid education and responsibility and lead irresponsible lives end up making metaphorical and colloquial "jackasses" of themselves.

@@KCandFriendsUSA I did my own Pinocchio adaptation with model railway engines js it's called trenocchio but its basically i railway version of the story
Honestly if Disney went belly up for their poor decision making and terrible remakes. It would be news for like half of a day. Any everyone else would just shrugged their shoulders and say well easy come easy go and move on to something else.
