At the end of the day folks let’s not get carried away with who we are. Apart from the two seasons in the National League due to exceptional circumstances, Orient have been either a third or fourth tier club for 40 years. Nothing has changed….the club has no money to invest heavily in the playing squad and we are and will continue to be a yo-yo club between League 1 and League 2. Be grateful that we still have a club to support but don’t get carried away and expect us to compete with the big boys in League 1. Celebrate the odd victories and hope that we can stay in League 1
@@adamknight7041 How can you show ambition if you have no money to support it? Orient have been at this level or below for 40 years and nowadays it is even more difficult to compete because generally clubs at our level have bigger stadiums and more money to splash about - albeit many of them beyond their means and they have crashed back down again and some have nearly gone out of business because of it. Orient have never been that sort of club and have only been promoted when the club has on rare occasions been fortunate enough to assemble a group of exceptional players on the cheap with a manager that got the best out of them. When we have a bigger stadium, richer owners, bigger attendances etc. then the club can move forwards but I don’t think it’s possible until then.
@@adamknight7041the amount of investment going into those clubs was a completely different level to that going into Orient. There’s a balance between money coming in and the type of person you want putting that money in. Hence club seeking investment but we sure as hell don’t want to go down the Becchetti route again.
I thought keeper played well. I feel more comfortable with him between the sticks. I feel we have the players to compete in this league but something isn’t right. RW openly criticising the team. All down to the players. Nothing to do with the coaching staff. Okay, what’s going to change then? Because at the moment what we are doing isn’t working. I am not a fantasist, I just believe that we are better than this.
The squad the last couple of years could come together and produce a result that was more than a sum of the parts. It is becoming clear that this season's squad has real limitations. Unless something changes, no one should be surprised if / when Richie moves on to pastures new . . . he is class and he deserves better than this.
Keeps saying it’s got to change and never does, had a fortnight to fix it and it got worse, can’t afford to go down this season, if we’re still down there in January he should go, players need to be braver aswell though because they’re letting Wellens down massively as are the board
Richie is an astute manager. He knows the players who are failing us. Trouble is they're are a bit too numerous for him to do much about it, and it's not just the summer signings, a lot of the old heads have gone backwards.
I'm fed up with dominating the first half, not scoring then falling apart after the break. Northampton had one shot on target and were there for the taking. Borehamwood must fancy their chances if they can keep it 0-0 until half time!!!
I wouldn't fancy being on the training ground on Monday morning when they all meet up. RW sounds mightily cheesed off here - & rightly so. Too many more such performances & he might lose the will to live & rev up. I wouldn't blame him, it must be sooooooo frustrating.
We have got 3 very poor strikers..probably national league players.. we only have free transfers and loanees ..thats what happens in the National league and below.. these owners should sell up completely to someone who can invest heavily..I still think Rw is the man but I reckon even he must be thinking of pissing off.. it has now come to the point that after watching the Os for 52 years I know we will always struggle.. this is a publicity stunt for these owners.. HOPEFULLY THEY SELL QUICKLY so we can rebuild..I doubt if Rw will stay.. you can hear him constantly referr to the top teams strikers and the lack of finance at the Os
On the radio we heard Kelman should have scored 11 to now not being good enough to play up front and is naive. I get protecting the players but our fans are not thick. Should look out for an out of contract body who could do a job.
Where is the hard cash to run a club like the O’s , forget a team full of loan ,journeyman and inexperienced chancers. Nigel and the yank need to invest in quality, what are there opinions, never hear anything when things are going tits up .50 years of parting with my hard earned is getting a bit tiresome lately. Up the mighty O’s.
“Nigel and the yank need to invest in quality”. Are you volunteering to put tens/hundreds of thousands of your own money into the club as they are each season to fund our perennially unprofitable club😂? It’s very easy to spend the personal money of others!
@@JonW9999 they would not spend it if they didn’t have it, no one forcing them to , anyway the 50 years of parting with my money into the O’s means nothing
Same shit every week. "We should've had 2 or 3" in the first half. And we don't. Then dominated in the second half another loss. Relegation time. Deserved.
I am a real Pollyanna usually - happy and clappy, but wow. Poor. Very poor. Cobblers aint a great team by any stretch. But today, that second half....Scared little boys. Have a bloody shot...Getting sick of the side to side passes. Its not Serie A, its Division 3. Move forward, cross get a big old unit upfront. Anyway, we will beat Rotherham 6-0 on Tuesday.

So show nout ambition then? 🤔
Your daily reminder that when Brentford and Bournemouth were at our level they were getting smaller attendances then us.

65% possesion, 77% pass completion, 1 shot on target

These are the same owners who saved our club from extinction and guided us to two promotions back to league one?
Number,8 who dived and cheated all through the game. Played in awe at the noise the Wrecsam fans made.
Wrexham fans? What were they doing at Northampton V Orient?

Yeah that Kellman is not even league 2 standard 😂
Easier said than done. If there was an out of contract player capable of banging in goals no doubt he wouldn’t be out of contract!

Players fault. Nothing at all to do with coaching. You keep blaming the players, you lose the dressing room. Maybe it’s already started
