Love the video - Someday My Prints Will Come is one of my favorite standards. Herbie and Chick put on a master class with it on one of their duo albums. I'd say the Grant Green version inverts it similarly to the Remember/Days of Wine and Roses examples you gave.
This lesson is very much Ahmad Jamal inspired, this is very pleasant . You play with such grace that I believe you might have some alien blood … bravo !
I'm sure you've answered this many times elsewhere, but what software / setup do you use when you write directly onto blank (electronic) lead sheets with your e-pen? It looks like you use Apple but I'm wondering if there's something similar for my Surface Pro. I like that you just are able to write naturally -- I'd like to give that a try, since at my level I don't think I need the "top" software I've googled that appear more intent on converting handwritten notes into electronic scores. Do you just use Adobe PDF?
Someday my prints will come - and amazon will deliver your fundamental books to my doorstep (Monday). Too bad the video cut out your playing your arrangement of the standard.
Jeremy: "Let's just play through a basic version"
Jeremy: plays an amazing arrangement
Me: dies
This was such an immensely valuable video, and I'm only halfway through. Someday My Prince Will Come is the piece I've been working on too
Awesome, I’m so glad, Kalaish!
Thanks for another great lesson, Jeremy. This 20 minute video will keep me busy for years. :)
Excellent lesson. You deserve many more subscribers. One of the best piano teachers on UA-cam
Hi Steve! That's very kind! I feel amazed that anyone's paying attention at all to what I'm doing. I'm just having fun over here!
Great ideas, and all of them in service of the music. Thanks Jeremy!
That's very kind, Peace Groove! Looking forward to hearing your arrangement!
Great lesson Someday my prints will tickle the ivories
I like all the versions especially bossa and two feel, great job 👏
Thanks, Francesco! In my experience, good tunes can hold up under lots of different treatments!

Yeah, with my old printer I also used to hope that someday my prints would come.

Anything Ahmad Jamal related is good with me! I'll have that blood checked... 😉
Missed the outro music! Great lesson. Maybe arrange a mashup "Someday my footPRINTS will come"
Thạnks a lot
My pleasure, Mai!

Sorry for taking so long to answer! I use the Forscore app and I just write on blank manuscript paper.
Some day my prints will come.
Niiiiice! Thanks for watching!
Someday My Prints Will Come 📠📄 (Thanks Jeremy!)
11:44 did you do that on the spot?
Yep - did this all on the spot. I'm thinking of being a semi-professional. 😉
@@JeremySiskind Lol you're funny. So you want to downgrade from professional to only semi-pro? :P
