Thanks for the video. When you push the TV all the way back to the wall, what does the gap measure?
I just bought a LG 75QNED86TSA.ATM that I'm waiting for delivery on, and having a duce of a time finding a wall mount for it...
@@tomm.149 depends on your specific tv but mines approx 100mm
My marble fireplace where I currently have a 55 inch tv hanging is a metal stud wall which is covered by a metal mesh, covered in concrete and then the marble placed over it. So the drilling depth is 2cm of marble + 3cm of concrete (5cm total). Would this be strong enough to hold the weight of the a 75 inch (40kg) tv if I were to upgrade? Thanks
If it's one sheet of marble that's bedded onto the stud wall with concrete and is currently holding a 55" telly then it will be fine. Make sure you upgrade the TV bracket and use the correct wall fixings for your application. So a 50mm fixing going into 20mm marble plus 30mm of concrete will be more than sufficient. 👍
Thank u i can see the 75 inch from 3 metters good?
So you wouldn’t want to install this into a stud? My first home and I want to do it right lol.
@@pandainthecity_collects you can definitely install it onto a stud /gyproc wall. Just ensure you find the studs, it might not align up with the brackets thought. This depends on the stud centres, you can install a plywood patters behind the gyproc but this all depends on skill levels etc.
75 inch LG mounting bolts (M6 one inch. Need 4)
How did you mount it? Did someone else helped you. As for me I let my pride get the best of me by lifting it up by myself. (NEVER AGAIN!!!) They need to make a full motion wall mount that also has an elevated action that acts like a crane so you don't end up with a potential hernia.
Yeah I asked the Wife to lift the other end. Wasn't going risk dropping the TV 😬
Can I use the small bolts that came in the back of the tv to mount the tv?
Probably too late to reply, but use M6 20mm bolts for a wall mount; you will have to buy those in a kit unfortunately that comes with a lot of bolts you won't need.
Thank you for the video. I'm getting ready to do exactly the same thing. I've done it before, but this was an excellent refresher.
No worries, thanks for the nice comment. Hope your installation goes well 👍
