I was an extremely picky eater when I was a child. My mom always made me something different for dinner and never forced textures on me. As an adult, I've become more "adventurous" and tried things at my own pace. I always appreciated that my mom did that for me. You're doing a great job

The struggle is real. I totally understand. My 5 year old (possibly autistic) will be in kindergarten next school year and I will be facing these lunch time struggles. However, I have some very exciting news! We decided to order the yum box after watching y'all have so much fun with it. I got the 25 dollar box because we have a family of 6 and I wanted to involve my kids. My 5 year old who never tries anything actually decided to try most of it with us!!!!! He wouldn't try the puff pastries and things like that but he tried the chips and other items! He only found one thing he liked (the little crunch bars from china) But he tried stuff and I couldn't be more thrilled!!!

In the thermos maybe it would stay hot or at least warmish til lunch just a thought love your lunch videos keep doing them it gives me ideas for what I can have for my lunch or dinner even🐕🌷🌈

My nephew Joey tried his mom's nacho cheese Doritos and loved them. He usually gets Cool Ranch.
He won't eat cheese unless in on pizza plus it's orange too which is big and he tried her pizza which had a white sauce with spinach, didn't like it but he tried it. It's a big week. He is 10 , not sure if I mentioned it.

For my own ASD boys, i have to send their yogurts to school in the original package cup. I dont know why, i guess the details r important to them. Might be worth a try. Mine seems to have a similar diet and restrictions as your boy. Alot of white and beige foods.
