- We spend the day at the lake and we're surprised by what Hana's dad has been catching in the water! We play hide-n-seek on the scooters. Janae enjoys a morning at the park, and we cook homemade Swedish meatballs. We're absolutely loving our time is Sweden as we travel the world this year!

If you're planning on coming to Western Australia, then I absolutely recommend coming to Manjimup. The locals are friendly, the food is fantastic and there are plenty of smaller towns around like Quinninup, Pemberton and Bridgetown. I have nothing bad to say about the area!
One slight problem is Nannup. It's a beautiful town but the road there is pretty winding. If any of you're kids get carsick (I and L?) then it might be a little rough...
The daily journal is such a good idea! I love that you are using those to help tailor to what the kids love!

About Gluten-free meatballs... try with Gluten-free quickoats. Delicious
6:10 those fly over my house daily as well, but then way lower. It's so loud😅

just for clarification, they are outside the united states however if they were in the United States their life jackets are illegal. Those are companion lifejackets that are not coast guard tested and are not allowed on a PCW or while tubing or skiing. Very skilled wake surfers do use them that are adults. Laura's life jacket is not a child's size which is also very dangerous no matter where you are in the world. She could easily slip out of that, making sure that you have the right size for the person is very important. Kids' life jackets are made with more straps and buckles to help keep them safe. Also some states and lakes this would be a ticket for not properly using the boating items correctly. Lastly in the States, you have to make sure that you open seats on the jetski for each person on the tube. So for example right now only one of the tubers could get on the jetski if it is a three-person.
One last safety red flag Janae is on the back of the jetski which is super unsafe she is very young and needs to be in front of the jetski. This is why in the states we have more laws around boating such as you must have a boaters safety card. as well as be around 15 or 16 depending on what state you are in.

A bit of information that probably Hanna's father knows about, it seems .
There are many rules with eel fishing in Sweden.
This seems to be a lake, then it might be ok. But here on the west coast I had been punished.
No its forbidden in all lakes and ocean since 2007. Only licensed fishers are alloved to fish in lakes. So Hannas father fished illegal. Unless you own the water.
Sweden is so expensive

Wait! Eels are red listed species. You cant fish them they endangered. Its been forbidden to fish eel in Sweden since 2007.
