Excellent Find!
there is one of these close by my house... it has some EXTREME classic leveling.
Very nice Wye Delta starter :)
Nice elevator.
I love that bell
That pump has one unique start.
Speaking of, I never got a response back from Payne Indistries, as what TK uses them for. I wonder if they make most of TK's stuff, or not? Never got an answer back.
(I asked, because one of your TK elevator videos sounded like Payne equipment was used.)
Interesting motor
Epic bell
By the way the hydro pump sounds, that's definitely dry-powered, similar to the one CVE9120 found @ Milton's South Shore Plaza. This is one VERY rare find as Otis still leaned towards traction as superior and was not as fond of hydros back when this was installed
+ElevatorMan5482 ElevExperiencing Productions That was back in the early 50s, by '55, OTIS didn't mind making hydraulic elevators. They also recycled some principles from their original water powered hydraulic elevator that they made years ago.
Archit N. Either way, hydraulic elevators from the 50s, whether by Otis or any other brand, are EXTREMELY rare
Yep, that is true
I love the motor
I listened a couple times but I couldn't hear what you said.. just curious why you said you couldn't go down the MPE? You said "something" wasn't polite
Otis have great motors! There's nothing bad about Mexico!
2:35 Why couldn't you go on the Man Powered Elevator?
You know Otis moved production over to South Carolina, right!
I’ve seen the building before!!!
The pump motors of today are nothing interesting to listen to. They sound cheap.
