This game has huge RNG. Even on the first level all of your clubbers may miss their attacks and get one shot. Just happened to me. The game is now out on PS5 and this platinum trophy is going to be an aggravating RNG grind
Note: hard because there is a trophy for beating every campaign without dying or restarting

How are you placing 8 on the 2nd one I can only place 6
steps to beat ANY campaign:
1. make a really powerful unit
2. put the unit in a faction
3. add the faction
boom beaten.
edit: oh wait they didn't use all units unlocked- SH-
DLC bugs: I have no such weakness

They made the game harder for absolutely no reason at all. I dont understand this, I downloaded the game for a fun cheezy little battle game but I'm having to put more thought into it then any other game, like I seriously am stuck on the level with the guys using the axes with bear hats that make ice ring, for real way to hard for an intro level like wtf... I could see giving wayyyyyyy more points to spend on troops on easy levels and backing off later in the game to force u to choose carefully but I'm five levels in and I hate this game. I've tried every thing seriously even a shield wall with spears behind and minitors to jump the bear head fucks, but even the snake thing doesnt work

Those are named Jarls, and yep, they've been turned into super units, with a big increase in price and new abilities etc. But I think they left the levels the same in terms of how much you get to spend to fight them. Some levels are almost mathematically impossible now unless you turn off the setting that restricts your unit choices on campaign levels.
I've watched Jarls suck up 10 or 12 musket shots and walk up and instakill a bunch of musketeers. Those are levels you have to cheese somehow.
i used 3 minitors to bait the units into falling off of a cliff and then used a ballista i put in the back along with some snake archers to shoot down the ones that didn't fall off, took a couple of tries but the strategy seems to work fine
@@okramcivkit4218 hell no I'm not using rocket science to beat a fcking tabs level. I will just put Zeus on a tree and control him or something and hope they don't magicly shoot me down or something

I completed the first level with 5 spears it took 20 min cuz i didnt know u could use anyone else.

the last three levels are bad ideas and does not work
My misplacment of 1 person made me lose 😂
Monitor wrong though
just place a tone of squires
doesn't work
Now you need to put 2 ballistas in the back and all the snake archers that you can with the rest of the money in the front of the ballistas. It worked for me

Dude! I was about to uninstall the game seriously till I read that it worked first time, I left a lengthy complaint comment about them changing those dudes and not giving more money to compensate, it's an intro level ( in a normal game 80% of whatever u put down would work) but on this level literally the only thing that works is that thank u
