Hi so for people who are scared to fall, it helped me A LOT when I first tried jumping with one foot and slowly jumping with your other foot until you get it!
I was too but honestly just keep your arms straight when u go back. As long as your hands and arms are straight they will touch the ground preventing you from falling!
I just learn this a few hours ago, it took me only 5 minutes on the ground, im so proud of myself, it might sound ridiculous, but actually even if you do a lot of progressions, the only way to get it is face your fears, But if we take into account the technique just learn monkey flip and then jump diagonally until you straighten it out
Valid question...I recommend warming up with wrist and shoulder mobility, then your planks and handstand holds, to make sure your ready for this move. Again, ask for a spot or do it where you feel safe (over mats). I hope this helps!
Great question! Don’t try anything if you don’t feel safe. Master all these skill drills, and ask for as many spots as needed along the way. There’s also mats that help with spotting back hand springs. Some gyms offer open training with coaches that offer spotting. Or you can always look into private lessons as well.
