Little one

Hello and welcome. I'm Alex and today I'm coming to you with a free tutorial for an album for a baby from the Little One collection by MIntay. This will be page 4.
Page 4 is extensive and consists of a side flap, with two small pockets made of decorative paper. Inside this flap there is a pocket with an oval cut out, i.e. a place for a photo to look like a passepartout. On the other side there is a small waterfall with decorated pleats. Everything closes with a clasp.

From the inside, on the flap, I glued a pocket made of decorative paper to the size of this flap with an oval cut out in the middle.
I glued two pieces of paper onto the tunnel, thus creating separate sections. At first I thought about making a swing tabs style clasp, but eventually I decided on a single pointer clasp.
Then I prepared mats for photos measuring 9.5/9.5 cm. Plus a bookmark that I cut out with a die and glued on top. Finally, I decorated with paper from the collection.
On the first mat and at the bottom of the card I attached a stud with a ring to make a string fastener.
On the outside side flap, I will make two pockets for photos by bending the decorative paper in the middle and cutting out two windows using a frame-shaped die. I glued the center and sides to the flap. I made two photo mats measuring 11.5 cm by 8.5 cm. I made a mat for a 10/15 photo in the interior.

The idea of creating two pockets with the same piece of paper is ingenious and saves paper but also time. I wouldn't have thought of it 😉

Thank you my dear. As you know, I always try to introduce something new, but the decision to make pockets only with decorative paper more often results from the fact that I noticed that after adding photos, the pages become really heavy. That's why whenever I can, I don't give unnecessary paper.
