It is time to test out Amazon's wearable device and see if it can compete against the Fitbit Charge 5. Some interesting features off the bat, but most of it appears to be in the app vs the watch for things I want. I will test it for 30 days and see which one wins out in the end. The price may be what wins it for you if you are interested.

Can you do an indepth review , such as the day to day use of the Halo. Thanks

I would, but I no longer have it. From what I can tell you it felt a lot like the Fitbit Charge 2. Simple device, but most of the things I want (body fat percent, even if it is wrong, and the readiness score are behind paywall for pro members)

I've also been using this watch, decent experience overall. I also dislike the way of putting the watch on, you get used to it but i still would like a new band style. I would love to be able to count my skips in jump rope. Battery was decent i think i remember getting 3 ish days until i needed to put it on the charger. I've been wondering about the accuracy of the heart rate monitor and blood oxygen test. If you have one of those chest placed monitors maybe you could wear both and compare the results in a video

I don't have a chest monitor to compare against. I actually think most people put way too much stock into how accurate these devices are. For me, if I get readings that are in normal range and then show when I am out doing something more strenuous and it reflects that it is all that matters to me. I don't care in the slightest for the blood oxygen testing, but if it matters to you, then there might be someone who has tested it for its accuracy.

While I'd love to say yes, I don't see myself buying it. Pretty tough reviews on it so far, but I'm not a huge fan of the design. Price looks solid though. I have saved it as a possible future item, but no current plans to try it out.

I’m curious about the halo since it’s cheap but seeing the comments and that you will return it, I will avoid. My daily driver is a gshock watch which takes abuse at my job, I’ll probably stick to that. Would be cool if gshock made a fitness watch, maybe they do but I haven’t checked.

If your current watch takes a beating, I definitely wouldn't buy Halo View or even the Fitbit devices. They are tough, but not that tough haha
