Crazy fucking movesets on these successor classes - with every stylish attack you do crazy shit, high dmg and always reposition yourself by flying, dashing, sliding whatever, nice mechanics. You can´t compare it to a boring fighter class or even the braver with katana itself, phantom is just beyond every star. At least for me. Can´t wait for global release!
Nice video! Reading through the comments; just wanted to say it’s really cool of you to give info to the PSO2 community, especially new players. I.e. cosmetics, etc. :)
My friends keep telling me to play ranger in NGS "it's basically rifle phantom", they say. Having played phantom in PSO2 for a few years, I disagree. Hopefully we see something someday that resembles this gameplay in NGS.
my favorite part of phantom is when you play in Urgent quests, and enemies die before you get your phantom marker off. It's really great I would totally recommend it.
How do people always manage to stay ontop of the target to attack? i always see myself manually walking over to get to it and attack but all the videos i see somehow auto dashes there character to the target. The only class i was able to do that with is Etoile and all i have to do is keep clicking with dual swords until she eventually get there. Also this class looks really fun. i just wish i didnt suck at it.
Hello, I'm new to Ph or any successor class, I saw many people use subpalettes thing to heal (not mate(s) stuff) but kind of a bit different subpalette can you tell me what it is?
To some degree, yes. A lot of people stick to the standout weapons like Ph Rod and Hr Sword as they're the strongest and most efficient in practice, but there definitely are people who stick to whatever they feel the most comfy with. 1 year after Phantom release, I still stick with the Rifle as the best-feeling Ph weapon out of the three; some of my friends still swear by their Hr TMGs or even go out of their way to cycle through all three Hero weapons.
@@RafaelCornelio Compared to the other two Successors, Etoile's ensemble is better balanced! All three weapons are equally viable in damage, so you can stick to whatever you'll find comfortable.
@@vyrde Cool, I was thinking of going with ph katana/rifle. I like the scythe but it really wouldn't go very well with my outfit/style, so it's nice to know that some people actually are trying to make 2 weapons viable.
Probably you can't make hybrid phantom with katana and rifles :/ build must be focused on one weapon... Phantom for me looks a lot better than ranger as rifle user but still as Braver Katana main I probably stick to katana. I wonder if Luster will have skill trees for more melee or more ranged. Maybe Luster still be balanced between melee and ranged but skill trees will be focused on specific "stance" (red one or blue one).
Recent PSO2 NA steam release make me wanted to play this game again, so I log into my JP account and grind out the phantom phantom don't have a "stance" it have a marker bomb (the blue/purple mark on enemy) that you can detonate and deal loads of damage and all phantom weapon can do that by the time you reach lv95 you'd have point for every phantom weapon related skill maxed it's preferred to use lv 200 dex mag because ph have preset skill of 100% conversion of dex to all type ATK also a max PP damage buff (capped at 10%) sorry if this post is a little old to you
I think it depends. If you've got a decent amount of grind and time on NA but still have other things to grind (eg 75-ing all classes, collecting Nemeses and Slaves), I think you can wait it out. If you have nothing else to do on NA other than maybe fashion or market, then maybe you can give JP a shot. Leveling to 75 is fairly quick with boosted Recommended (Featured) Quests, and you only need two lv75 classes to unlock successor/scion classes. imo you can treat it as a private mmo server of sort with different content to your main server, see what things are like before they're implemented. Still, it's another 60 GB of hard drive space .__.
@@vyrde sorry im gonna asking for something wierd. I search grim assasssin on shop but can't find one(another camo/costume too) I definitely search grim assassin or other correctly. Can i have a little explanation/answer?

Hey I have a question, I’m having trouble getting Noble Might for my 13* Katana. I have Quartz Soul, Flict Arma, and Might IV all prepared for the final affix. Is Noble Might 100% transfer? And is spending 3-4 million the only way to affix the ability onto my Katana? Sorry for sounding dumb Lol just confused. I play on NA if your wondering.
I'd personally advise against affixing things for the long run since the NA roadmap is planning parity with JP this year. That'd mean the arrival of better abilities (better souls, the ep5 reveries, etc) and better weapons in general (higher tier 13*s, 14*s, and eventually 15*s) to dump your meseta into. Also I assume Noble Might = Noble Power on JP? (Melee +30, PP +3) If that's the case then the only way of adding it onto a weapon is by using an Add Ability item, in this case Melee & PP (edit: since it's an Add Ability item to be used in making the final affix, it's a 100% success rate) Also yeah, affixing can get expensive. That's why to my knowledge a lot of JP players are recommending against affixing in NA's current state. Personally I'd say a soul and stat boost is enough; save the fancier fodders for better weapons down the line.
Rewatching this lackluster day 1 gameplay now also makes my head spin, don't worry e_e There are plenty of better reference videos and tutorials you can look at for guidance, like Kevin Brooks' Quick Cut video for Ph Katana as well as Depth 999 Masquerade runs. I highly recommend doing that to start getting a feel for actual high-level Phantom play in general, also to get better pointers than what an early showcase can give you.
iirc here I was using - Braided Half Up GV hair - Shorts Snow [Ba], no outerwear - Grace Tights bodypaint, double-layered - Black Thin Muffler - White Camo Facemask - Waist Tied Plaid Shirt Black
It's not exactly melee-based, as Phantom can use Katanas, Rifles, and Rods. If anything, you can consider Phantom stronger as a caster class due to how versatile Rod is.
