I found your video very interesting but so many of the comments you have on your page was also very useful. Just want to say good job in both the video and also having such a good comment response.
I have a few question. 1) When using the Pen's buttons, do you have to pull your finger uncomfortably far back to use it or is it manageable? 2) Does the pen have an eraser function on the back of it like Wacom pens do or is it that function done through the regular pen tip? 3) Do the buttons on the pen require a lot of strength to press and hold or just gently pressing suffice? 4) Does that graphic decal that looks like it goes over the surface come with the tablet or is it something you had to buy separately?
Hiho! 1) Not, with my average hands it doesnt feel uncomfortably. 2) Nope, it doesnt have an eraser on the end. You would need to programm a shortcut for that for one of the buttons on the pen or tablet. 3) Gently pressing is sufficent. 4) Everything I showed in the unboxing part comes with the tablet, so the decal is in the box. Hi! Nice video, very professional :) I've only one question, for a photographic use, that is of programs such as photoshop and others, is better this gaomon m1220 or the Xp pen pro s/m?
Great video!! It helped me a lot to decide to buy this tablet. Now that I have it I can´t adjust the pressure of the pen. I`ve done it in the menu and despite that it does not work It works like a normal pencil without being able to use pressure and I cannot adjust the size of the brush with the home key touch ring. Hope you can help me. Thanks and success!!
Which device and operating system are you using this tablet with? Does the pressure sensitivity work in the GAOMON app on the little test windows? Have you checked that your brush size shortcuts are set correctly?
Hey, super Review, danke! ;-) There are still only very few reviews on this tablet... how did the M1220 hold up after a couple of months, do you still like it? I'm currently considering buying either the Gaomon M10K Pro, or this one here which I've only just found. This one looks nicer for sure!
Hiho und Servus! Yeah the M1220 is really nice, quite impressed how far Gaomon has already come. As i dont have any experience with the current M10K Pro I cant compare them at all. The M1220 really seems worth the money though.

Do you feel that Gaomon really have taken another step forward with this M1220 towards a more "quality feel" especially with the touch wheel (and buttons)? I worried the M10K touch wheel would feel too flimsy. If this M1220 now feels really nice from the wheel and buttons and the rest is great also, then I think I'll order it. :)
@@marsfuture Yes, i had an old M10K years ago. I am not completely sure how much the M10K Pro already improved on that? But compared to my old Gaomon, the M1220 is such a huge step forward. Especially on the software side, but also the hardware quality is now also really good. The buttons on the M10K felt more flimsy than on this one.
In your video it seems that you managed to use the tablet in landscape mode when connecting to an Android device (2:40, 7:34). All other reviews show the M1220 working in portrait mode, enabling only a portion of the graphics tablet for drawing. How did you manage to configure the tablet such that it would enable drawing on the full area (on Android)?
Unfortunately it only seems that way, after recording all my footage i realized that its only using a portion of the tablet. As i mentioned in the review, i didnt really test this feature as my tablet has already a pen and i thought most people would use this graphics tablet with a computer / laptop anyway. I am sorry to disappoint you! I would recommend to write to Gaomon, they are normally quite fast to respond. Maybe they can make an update for that.
I love everything about this tablet but sadly it doesn't have any possibility to use it on Linux. If they release Linux drivers I will definitely buy it 👍
