NYC resident here. It’s crazy that people around the world are looking at this video to try to get an IDEA of them being in the cameraman’s shoes and would like to experience this.. meanwhile I can literally just get on the train for a half hour and be there. Truly blessed to be born here
I have heard progressism is destroying the city at unprecedented level and people and their wealth are leaving It and going tô Miami. Is It true? Has socialism failed again? Just curious for data.
NYC is special - look at the level of diversity and integration. Then the change of ethnic cuisines, bars, clubs, venues, restaurants, stores etc. One of the few places in the world with that level of variety in all aspects.
@@PinoyAbnoy Do you have any idea how large and homogenous the world is? You speak as if every city on earth is as diverse as NYC. What does "feels wrong" even mean? It's a statistical fact that there are just a handful of cities as diverse as NYC in a world with 8 billion people. Are you trying to tell me 50% of the world's cities are as diverse as NYC? 25%? You'd be lucky if even 2% of the world's population live in a city as diverse as NYC in terms of ethnicity, amenities and experiences. You think 2% (100 million people out of 8 billion people) is a total exaggeration and "feels wrong" to you? 😂. London, NYC, Toronto, LA, SF, Paris, Sydney, Dubai, Vancouver, Melbourne are just a few of the main diverse cities in the world and that isn't remotely close to 100 million people total. It may even be less than 1%. Also, in terms of level of diversity, statistically only London and Toronto are higher than NYC, but no one cares about Canada, so really it's just London and NYC. Think more before you try to make an argument that makes zero sense.
Made me homesick...for a minute. Love and miss NYC but happy I don't have to deal with those crowds on a daily basis anymore. Cool video, really shows the diversity of AMERICA not just NYC.

NYC has such night life, Central park, Radio City, Times square, 5th Avenue, etc. I once read a tour brochure that said " If you are bored in New York, it's your own fault." We are from Manhattan, but I would sometimes go to Brooklyn or Queens and explore. There's always something going on in this city🏙🌇🌎🗽
When I lived in NYC I used to love eating a late dinner at one of those restaurants where the front opens. You just sort of listen to the sounds of the night.
It's horrible. I'm in my 40s but born/raised in NYC from an Irish American family, so I am familiar with nightlife in Ireland/UK. There is no drinking culture in places like NYC or LA. It's all snobs, mostly smoking weed. It was a bit different when I was hitting clubs in the 80s/90s as a 20 something because NYC was a much more "white" city back then, meaning more Irish/English/Italian...European acenstory...people who like to go out and drink. That's gone. It's all hood and ghetto now. I'd advise anyone from the UK to visit Boston or just go to Las Vegas.
@@magamaga1827 It's horrible because it isn't mostly white anymore? Get your ass out of NYC. We don't want people who are still stuck with that 1700s mindset like you. In this day and age, America is suppose to be land of the free FOR ALL. Not "land of the whites only".
I've always been curious about New York. What a beautiful area you showed us. Love all the outdoor social areas very colourful and quaint. Not at all what I thought NY would be like.
Typically the queues move quickly unless it's a super popular place, but there's so so much to choose from that if one spot is too packed, just choose another.

The one thing that sucks about NY is that everyone is to themselves, no real interactions with anyone outside your group. It's a real challenge trying to talk to others, hard ice to break for most to even try. Not the friendliest place if you want to meet new people. If you can get past that, NY is the best place in the world.
