Legend has it the dude never made it to his rescheduled wedding and is to this day is still wandering around Gatlinburg telling his sad story about the reserved “spot #31” parking debacle.
You can have all the signs and warnings you want but most people pay no attention to what you tell them or what they see. Having a car towed should be a one-time learning lesson.
Even something as simple as saying make sure you don't park in a numbered spot would help, it's like the place could care less about the guests once they swipe the credit card to check in.
@@aaronqueen55 . We have a 2' square "No Parking" sign at the only entrance to our small parking lot. The first excuse we hear is we didn't see any sign. These are just lazy people who don't give a damn and think the world owes them. The recovery fee on our lot is $225 for the first 24 hours. Add a dollar for each hour over that. We do not get any kickback from the towing company, but when we call, they show up within a few minutes.
@@aaronqueen55 I guess your solution is to hire dedicated employees to hold the parking violators' hands. You must be one of those violators who always blame everything that happens to you on someone else. Grow up and take responsibility for your screw-ups.
Country Inns & Suites G'Burg needs to take more of an initiative for customers of their business. Making sure folks absolutely understand where they can and cannot park. Also, and I'm only guessing here, they don't want to admit to a customer there is not enough parking for number of rooms. To be honest, if I'm there trying to rent a room and I'm told to use a lot 2-3 blocks away, I'm probably not staying there. Sure hope all involved in accident are OK or only have minor injuries. That go-between the spurs is a bad spot. I've seen a lot of near misses there by folks being impatient. Not saying at all that this is what happened in this accident by any means. The traffic gets sooo thick at times and people get in a hurry or tired of waiting forever and take chances they shouldn't. Kristen, excellent job positioning the wrecked auto!!!!! Like a pro!!
Way-to-go Kristen. Pull a car off an embankment with no front tire and then lift and park a different car with no front end into a parking spot backwards. Now all you have to do is learn how to back the Ram down a small road in the Smokies and you'll be sitting in the driver's seat on a regular basis. I actually clapped for you. Very impressive.
