These last couple weeks, I’ve been able to really take a break from Raid and only do the bare minimum. And I can’t tell you how much my mood has changed for the better, this game drains so much out of you

I'll give you another reason to skip. If you're in my place, I'd love to have a 5-star to Freyja, but with the Wixwell nerf, my clan is not double chesting UNM anymore, shards from CB are going to be more scarce, replacing Sacreds will be more difficult. Add to that, I am (due to the excessive nerf) going on a spending break. Would love that soul, but....
You should look to upgrade clan... or help them build better teams... UNM is essential
@@ScrollsofAnubis I've been helping my clan-mates as much as I can. Mostly I direct them to Deadwood and HH as I am far from an expert. I am the clan leader (inherited) so in my case I guess I have to kick underperforming clan-mates? Kinda defeats the purpose of having a casual, F2P friendly clan.
@@sturm375 Casual and F2P have nothing to do with not being able to clear UNM CB. Plenty of epic only budget unkillable teams are available
@@chrisbrooke5854 Sure, if you pull unkillable champion(s). I started (properly) playing when Ronda was a login champ. I'm yet to see a champion that provides team wide unkillable or block damage...

What happened to your recent soul pulling video which is not available? Did plarium say you cant expose the terrible rates for wishlist or something?
I believe that they have increased all of these events based on more people clearing UNM CB, people are just gaining more sacreds and shards these days
I hear what you're saying about the impact of Soulstones. During the Soulstone-pulling event for Freya (I *did* get Freya, by the way), I pulled a 6-star (first one ever) for Elva Autumnborn--who I have!! I applied it and it more than doubled her power. (I chose the Brimstone blessing, as per the HH site's recommendation, thank you very much! lol)
Concerning this Hero's Path for the Freya Soulstone, I admit I'm intrigued, but... it's REALLY expensive. I don't have nearly the Sacreds to do this event simply by pulling shards, so I would have to develop some Champions. Which I am willing to do, but it's such a grind, as you know.
I may start out today by leveling some Champs and get a feel for how bad this event is going to be. But... I have a feeling it will be VERY bad, lol!
I'm going on a spending break...I spend $ to get some Really good champs...than after Plarium does a cash grab from said champs - They Nerf them.

@@toxicninja4411, granted, but they didn't have to cut Wixwell off at the knees, did they? Couldn't they have picked some other way to address the issue? I don't have either Champion, so I have no personal reason to care, but it FEELS like a scam: Get the player base all excited about. Champion who's accessible and really powerful, they spend time and money to acquire him--and then nerf the very mechanic people wanted him for. (Not to mention this was a hero the community was heavily invested in because we built him.)
To me, they should have wracked their brains to come up with some other approach to "fixing" Wixwell, but no--they always go for the cap, which is lazy.
Definite skip for me, I got about 15 of the Frejya fragments and gave up. Just gonna farm Fire Knight for Savage on the F2P, main account is taking a rest other than Hydra.
really good to know how powerful a 5 star soul upgrade actually is, ill hang on to all mine for the change I get the champs in the future. also your delivery is so easy to absorb, Ash is a bit hyper!
Will team optimizer somwhow be reset so it's easier to find good teams after hydra changes?

I was the same. Met a mate for a few pints who I hadn’t seen in a while. I walked home drunk and somehow got the souls but lost shards. Don’t drink kids.
Did get my first cupidus. Still, don’t drink and play raid.
I’ve gone back to coasting, building up resources and food, it’s a good long event but still seems like everything is packed next to each other
i did need the guraentied epic so that was an instant 12k points. the champion training points are quite good and the rewards are decent without much effort appart from getting the soul really, which i dont want. think getting a lego book is easier than a regular champion training. think i can get the eternal soulstone without to much fuss. doom tower is reseting so alot of free energy coming in over the next couple of days
I woke up today and my team in raid for clan boss using the infinity shield is gone I only got 120 turns on ultra nightmare any ideas? It was a wixwell team

shield cap update was yesterday. they go up only to 2M now. The fight may not go to turn limit, hope you're still doing enough damage!

@@cripplesoldier fudge that's tough. I didn't have enough time to test much, but I heard that its happening more on budget teams. You can try a different damage dealer if you have one. 🙏

Darn….i went for freyja and was hoping they would offer more souls than just the 5*. I won’t spend the 18+ sacred worth of shards for the soul. Definitely not grinding training like I did the DOF for her…
What would you suggest for very early game players that does not hay Freyja? I'm 40days into the game having 5 sacred shards now, haven't pulled any game changing epic/legendary so far. Do you suggest to keep the shards for next fusion?
pull during 2x.. better to get some champs that can help you than trying for a fusion you cant complete

Save the souls and concentrate on farming your food to upgrade your champs later, that's what i'm doing. I finally got Scyl today as the log in, I fused Yannica last week (the day they announced the nerf) so i'm ignoring events for now & doing the clan quests to upgrade 2*s. I'm building the food to 6* them during the Personal reward CVC. Its earned enough points to clear through to the soul stones and soul coins so far.
Pull during 2x which should be this weekend if I’m correct. Good luck hope you pull some epics and leggos.

Got 7 legendaries during this event. No sacreds used. Loki, Thor, Freyja, Elva, 2 voids, and one dupe. Still holding on to 26 sacreds.
Plarium just dropped a juicy appreciation gift in the shop. I wonder why they did that😂?
You know Plarium f'd up a lot recently when they are giving out 3x Immortal soulstones and a primal.
Only reason i go for it is because i saved up a bazillion brews and thaz got me to around 40k...and i do have 8 sacreds saved up for the ×2 because i skipped the thor fusion :].
They seem to be giving pretty good points for Champ Training on this one.

Got a bunch to level, I think I'm going for the avatar, the rest I honestly do not give an F about, and at least the avatar is available to pick at some point whenever.
I got a 1* soul for her the other day.
I would have pulled 6 to 8 sacred shards for her 3* soul, but 18 sacreds is way too much, even for a 5* soul.
Going to have another big pull on the event DG before it finishes
I really don't care to do much in Raid since the Fae Flop, Wixwell and hydra changes.
The only event I don't usually skip is the summon group if the crystals for one summon come from sand devil. It's very easy with the f2p stamina to obtain the rewards. The rest of the events are only designed for dirty pay to win players
Ive managed to get a good amount of stuff over the last week or so including somehow getting Odin from a Prism shard....so this freya event i care absolutely nothing about. Ive got Geomancer and that Odin to gear and whatnot for tye weekend at least.
Freyja does do a lot of damage - but you would need a 6* Soul for her [crushing rent], 6 piece slayer set, at least 6k Def. and 300 Crit.Dmg [going for the right masteries to boost your damage even further, and get an extra ignore Def.] - if you get all of this, she was able to do more than 240 mio. damage on Hydra NM - I have no idea, how it will look like now, with the changes on the Hydra. But, she can hit really hard.
Edit: The event is still not worth it - the cost is too high, but the Avatar is great :D
For everyone doubting - have a look at the comment of my other channel - there is a screenshot of her damage in the community tab ...
She only attacks on her A1, are you high? Putting a damage set on her is a huge waste.

I hear you about siege and i am done with it now. I played every siege and contributed to my clan. The last one I wasnt strong enough to win any attacks and was slaughtered in the defences. So even though i contributed i got nothing. So why bother wasting my time with it ? Although with recent changes I saved time in hydra now because I can only compete Normal and Hard now.
I stopped spending after the free ninja giveaway after a long break away. and now i am thinking should i go somewhere else where the power gaps arent so large.
I pulled freya on the prism shard event, only got 1 shard and it was her...then i opened some soulstones for the recent event and got the 5* soul for freya, so I'm skipping anyway 🤟

That's how I'm feeling. I'm so in the reverse of these events that I pulled Odin out of a prism shards and was more upset that it was Eostrid, Uuko, or Nekmo lol. Happy to have Odin just not ready to build him because I'm focused on Hydra teams at the moment.

These whales make it nearly impossible for us normal gamers to play any kind of PVP, shits insane. Clearly a pay to win game. Makes the game kinda 1 sided.
I'm nor even 'normal' just f2p, and I play the arenas daily without issue. playing is definately possible, however, if you're want to climb endlessly you're just delusional.

Freya Path is GREAT, especially for F2P and middle game players. I don't care for a soul, but take out calculator and count how much points for those juicy books, both legendary and mythical, and coinciding with x2 sacreds, the time when people who have 5-6 sacreds in a stock would usually pul their "fortune"... 2 lego books and presumably maybe one mythical (still 10 k cheaper than soul) for relatively small ammount of sacreds pulled (forified with champ leveling because what else is there to do this days) is not event for skipping, especially if you have to earn your books from the game, and not getting it thorugh buying packages...
So, when you eliminate the whale stuff, like soul for 50 k (or 12 sacreds, 20 to come to it, I wouldn't move a finger for that exchange rate...), you actually have 1 lego book for 32 k points, 2 lego books for 42 k points, 2 legos and 1 mythical for 62 k points (or 1 lego and 1 mythical for 52 k), and 2 legos and 2 mythical for 82 k points. I already farmed 10 k just with in game free energy, and intend to open 6 sacred shard tomorrow, and we will see, maybe I would spend some gems maybe I will spend brews, but I for sure will aim at least one mythical that are so so hard to get from game...
If people would only go for one lego book, it is again much cheaper (2-3 time cheaper, becasue you get aprox. 5-6 points more for leveling than in standard leveling event) exchange rate than in regular leveling champ events, when you have book somewhere in the end on 11-15 k points... So the ones that would skip it, book wise, is really not taken grasp of the game.
In short, this is your best time to pull sacreds if you are non-spender, and the best time to grind a little for books, because they are the cheapest in paths...
Easy skip, they lie that events are not compared to each other. As income value is being compared

If I go for a champ, I go for the soul as well. I don't see champs without souls as particularly useful, in most cases.

There's a part of me that already wants to skip the Halloween fusion. This game has become more draining than pleasurable to play anymore.......

Hard passing on most of the content now to be honest. It's far more interesting playing on a new account early game. The later content can be so frustrating it's not worth playing. Facing level 100 players on bronze level tag team nonsense. Masteries nonsense. Siege mismatches still no way to review a battle. I get hard wrecked in live arena so area bonuses hard work list goes on
Easy skip. Thor + 5star + Freyja emptied my account(s). And even if I had the resources the cost is way too much for a support soul.
I'm fine waiting for her souls on the merchant and using essences and/or soulstones. 3 stars is fine for he anyway.

Jeroboam fusion path had 3 star to 5 star. soul. they made this one all or nothing.
I don’t get the hate, this is not a bad event if you don’t want the soul. Do a bunch of champion training, get a bunch of good rewards. No need to pull shards.
Skipping everything the events lately are terrible, last two decks worst thing ever, makes me not even want to bother looking at them don’t even open them ignore they exist is exactly what I’m doing, and then the nerfs in hydra and buffs to hydra I’m not playing the game as much feel like quitting, just doing my daily clan boss, sand devil, faction wars, daily quest, and the gem advance so not all the advance quest, kinda hating the game at the moment
Unpopular decision but I'm going for this event. A 5* freyja soul helps make her more pvp viable for me and that's why I got her in the first place. I have the sacred shards to do the event but going to push through champ training a bit to lessen the load since I haven't had a ton of sacred shard luck recently in cb (still sitting at 25 though since I thought I would need them to get Freyja).
