    ORC 4511.01(A) Bicycles are legally classified as vehicles
    (Y) I am a driver.
    ORC 4511.55(A) only required to drive as far right as "practicable" (safe and reasonable), not as far right as possible
    ORC 4511.55(C) Cyclists may use full lane
    ORC 4511.20 willful or wanton disregard of the safety of persons
    ORC 2903.11 Felonious assault, only intent/attempt required even in lack of contact
    ORC 2903.22 Menacing, you only need to make me "believe" you mean harm
    ORC 4511.39 only required to signal once, not continuously. Not required to signal in designated turn lanes or if both hands are need for safe operation of my vehicle.
    ORC 4511.07 local authorities can not ban cyclists from roads
    ORC 4511.711 local authorities may not require cyclists to use sidewalks
    ORC 4511.12 cyclists must use turn lanes to turn, motorist can not use turn lanes to pass
    ORC 4511.25(A) crossing left of center legal under certain conditions
    (B)(1) slower traffic drive right except under certain conditions
    (B)(2) slower traffic not required to comprise safety to facilitate passing.
    ORC 4511.22(A) I may slow down for the safe operation of my vehicle if being followed too closely
    (C) Trotwood V Selz, if I'm doing a reasonable speed for a cyclist on a bicycle as a cyclist on a bicycle in the existing conditions then I can not be considered as illegally impeding traffic.
    ORC 4511.43 & .431 Must stop prior to driving over sidewalk/crosswalk (even if unmarked) at stops and driveways.
    ORC 4511.28 no passing on the right
    ORC 4511.27, .29, .30, &.31, all the requirements for crossing left of center when safe to pass to include the 3' clearance requirement.
    ORC 4511.712 illegal to enter an intersection unless you can clear the intersection.
    ORC 4511.70 illegal to open door into moving traffic
    ORC 4511.991(a) ''Distracted'' defined: violations committed while distracted(1) Distracted means doing either of the following while operating a vehicle:
    (a) Using a electronic wireless communications device. as defined in section 4511.204 of the Revised Code, in violation of that section.
    (b) Engaging in any activity that is not necessary to the operation of a vehicle and impairs, or reasonably would be expected ti impair, the ability of the operator to drive the vehicle safely.

    Good road position. I like to see cyclists take the lane when it is narrow. There are so many stop signs, though. Do you have the safety stop or Idaho stop where you live? We got it in 2022, and it is so lovely. I have to be careful not to roll through stop signs while driving the car now.

      Ohio passed the Idaho Stop law back 2017, but I m not sure if it was put into law.
