Great stuff Baz. These blockages on the sensor pipes are a real pain to sort due to access problems caused by modern engine packaging and plumbing! However I did note that this particular car had done 96k, so that is not a bad innings before this problem occurred ? I agree with other comments that engines are far too complex, but in the not too distant future we will all be whizzing around in our 2/4 tonne milk floats. Thankfully I think ICE motors will still be about in the rest off my lifetime, (71 now), and guys like you will still be needed. 👍😎
Great work Baz as always.Right old faff this one just for a pipe. Baz what do you think of Molyslip gearbox additive? Is it worth it to add to a whiny manual gearbox.
I’ve got to know some more about your camera setup mate. Want to get documenting some of the bits I do when I’m more competent Top job as always mate. You’re an inspiration to us shitty mechanics just getting started 😂
Done A Renault traffic the other week , pipe very blocked put cleaner in never budge tried the drill still didn’t work so had to remove it then snapped and the banjo in the manifold! What a job that was to remove the manifold and get it drilled out
Great video as usual mate, I am having same issue on my Renault Megane but nobody can find the upstream pressure pipe. I have tried 3 different garages so far.
@@GhostLead65 mine is 2019 and the problem is we can’t find upstream pressure sensor anywhere. I am wondering could it be just a pipe going from turbo to exhaust without sensor? I can upload few pics tomorrow if some can help me.
@@kirkenesnorway121 if you do the injector washers and they haven’t been leaking into the engine they pretty okay, They do break the oil pump chain from time to time..

95%+ of faults on modern cars and vans are emissions related it's fecking bonkers pal.
Top work again 👏
Take all the fancy crap off and a start stop solenoid on the fuel pump and never have a problem
@@bazmeredithThat's why I keep my pre DPF Volvo V50 diesel going. Blocked off the EGR valve too lol.
Had a busy day today seven cars to fix all got done , and i am.done to 😂😂

Great fix Cool man Baz 👍🏻 Not many would clean 🧼 that pipe 🙄 they’d just replace it 🤣
You certainly know your stuff, enjoy watching the videos 👍
I work on them all the time, you need to replace new modified Injector washers..

AHH, the Mazda diesel. Beautiful car, Euro 5 compliance without Adblue by over-reliance on EGR and low compression. Painful ownership experience.
Baz I'd say you have a heck of a full diary for appointments, must say you are a great mechanic, not many great ones left 👍

If it's whining there's nothing that will fix it, but it's deffo worth a try for sure
Great work on that pipe, I remember doing the odd one on a couple of renault traffics
Editing is 👌

Nice to see someone on UA-cam who actually knows how to fix cars.

Spot on baz is that a pressure and vacuum gauge or just vacuum and was you applying pressure or vacuum?
It does both buddy, I was applying pressure, if you create a vacuum it will just go to minus on the diag
@bazmeredith brilliant thank you for that brother 👌
Mazda diesel engines are really bad. Especially the 2.2l. If you want a Mazda buy a petrol version.

Baz, is this your workshop? Been subscribed and watch your videos everyday when ya post, great stuff get it sent lol 😆
It's not my workshop no, I've been here 24 years buddy
@bazmeredith you'd do well on your own, but you obviously love the place after 24 years.
At least the way that pipe comes off is better than the Renault's that like to snap the union in the manifolds😢
time and effort to try and clean that pipe out wouldnt it just be better to fit a new pipe that will be spotless inside without the faf??
Are there any reliable modern diesels about? Not a mechanic but see loads issues online with mazda diesels, petrols very reliable.
Hyundai/kia seem to give less emissions related problems than usual for some reason
You missed pronounced pastie 😂
