Hopefully we still get a George Tarleton MODOK (Comic MODOK) who has connections to A.I.M. A group who within the MCU has kind of been forgotten about since Iron Man 3 (2013). Would be a great way to introduce A.I.M back into the MCU with George as MODOK. You can argue that Kang being from an alternate reality already knew of a MODOK. Most likely George Tarleton so Kang basically just turned turned Darren into his own personal Modok. Similar to Kang meeting a version of Iron Man and later creating his own Iron Man with someone else.
There is a lot wrong with this film (and most of phase 5). But it does get bonus points for giving us a Iive action MODOK. 😂 Never thought I’d see that.

I actually like this movie. I think most people will say it's a pretty fun movie. The problem comes when u really think about how they let kang lose to the ant family, in the bigger picture it's a terrible mistake, u can't let ur new big bad get beat and especially not to a character like antman who I love but isn't exactly a big bad killer. But the rest of the movie I do actually like it's much better than love and thunder
Its cool to see other people enjoy this movie. It was a fun ride still, doesn't deserve the hate it gets. Yeah there's criticisms but the over hate is not warranted
One thing to keep in mind is that these actors are getting older and Marvel wants to keep things rolling, which means introducing younger heroes. It just so happens that Cassie Lang is also known as Stature and can shrink and grow. So, while Scott and Janet’s story felt wrapped up, there was still more to tell.
I think this movie is definitely overhated. I like it more than GotG3 and Doctor Strange 2, but that's a personal issue and I might write it under the GotG3 vid. I just love the Ant-Man main cast a lot and I had a great time. Also, we got a glimpse of Loki and Mobius in the post credit scene, which got me SO excited for Loki S2 back in the movie theater.

@@HIPsteHeero I kinda disagree, I mean supernatural is very beloved and popular and I think there are enough fans who would be interested in their reactions to it (I already saw some people recommend it in their comment sections). Also yes the show is long but I don't think it's 'too' long. A solution here would be that they watch the first 5 seasons (which a lot of people love and consider the prime of the show, I think these seasons would generate enough views) and from there they can decide if they want to keep going. They could also (if possible) do double updoads like they do with the 100. Two episodes at once would minimize the 'risk' you're talking about. Regrading your last point: yes it's right that people complain about the last seasons but people complain all the time. I always read and hear on how people hated certain seasons of shows. It almost never happens that people are completely satisfied with every season of a show. So if they would apply that logic to every show they're watching, they would never start or finish anything. @@labyrinth123 Once again, I'm a big fan as well, but as a moderator, I can promise you that this topic has been talked to death at this point and then some. It's 15 seasons, and from waht both Rob and Trin have heard, is just people that keep saying that it turns shit after season 5, or that it turns shit after season 7 at most, and all of that. That's still over half of the show that they would risk being stuck watching, without people turning in. After all, Fear The Walking Dead had a gazillion people begging for it, and then when we got around season 5 and onward especially, viewers dropped massively. Interactions on UA-cam weren't even worth continuing to upload on UA-cam. Yet, Rob and Trin themselves enjoyed it and wanted to keep watching in, which they did over on Patreon. However, it was still with only a VERY small number of viewers. If that happens with Supernatural after season 5, or let's say at most after season 7, that is still 7 seasons at most with a very small viewership number and people that might unsubscribe while it is still being watched. It's too much of a risk for that reason. And the first 5 seasons has been recommended a lot, which is literally THE problem here that I'm talking about. If it's only the first 5 seasons, than there's still 10 more. And when they start watching something, they don't want to cut it short when there's still more to go. Once they start something, they want to be in it for the long run. it's not an opinion risk that I'm talking about. it's viewership, subscribers on Patreon. It's their income, that without, they'd need to get fulltime jobs for and the reactions would stop. Because yes, of all the reactors that I've watched, Rob and Trin do always make up their own minds, it's what I love about them and what makes me get along with them so well. That doesn't change the fact that like I said, this isn't about if they will like it, as they've said before that they are sure they would, but that's not the problem here like I said. Even to the point where after so many discussions about it, Trin for one has already started watching the shoe for herself at this point. For reactions, it is just not going to happen unfortunately.

It's such a shame what happened to Majors and his character. I thought the setup was really good, he would've been an awesome big bad for this phase of the MCU. An endgame type of movie with Kang the conqueror as the last boss needs to happen in the future.
@@Nate_river_2at the time people gave this movie absolute hell. It’s a decent film marred by unfortunately having an actor with a bad rep coming out at the same time. The word of mouth spread

They don't watch the trailers. Do you comment on every Iron Man reaction with where his arc ends up? I mean Endgame has been out for years and there were so many trailers, right?
I've been a comics reader since I was a kid, so I knew who/what MODOK was, and I hadn't been spoiled. In the theater I said "MODOK?!" in an shamefully loud voice. It really took me out of the moment lol. Also, FWIW, humans have more than 7 holes. We have seven in our heads alone.
😪😪😪 unfortunately... The MCU would've been sooooo great with the Kangs storylines. I was so hyped... I feel kinda bummed rewatching this movie. About what could've been. Ahh well life happens
So.... when I was a but a wee tot, while I knew various superheroes from animated shows, I didn't collect any comic books. My very first comic book was Marvel's "Micronauts" which was set in the "Microverse". The main characters fled their universe to come to Earth where they were the size of the toys they were based on. The first Earth hero they met was Ant-Man (the original Hank Pym Ant-Man). This led me to not only be a fan of Ant-Man, but my very first science fair project was on ants and I was pretty in to ants for a few years. Anyway... the only thing that made me sad about this movie was that we didn't get to meet the Micronauts here in the Quantum Realm (and we didn't because I believe Marvel no longer has the rights to the toy line) I am a HUGE fan of Ant-Man being in the MCU and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie because like the other two Ant-Man movies, it was just light-hearted enough while simultaneously offering us a genuine threat. I'm so glad you had a good time with it as well.
@@Xeorfhim Yes, it is, because these events still happened, they still matter. Even without the original plan, everything that happened, including previous Kang storylines, still matter. You're making it sound like non of this movie, or anything else with even remotely anything Kang in it, matters or is canon anymore, just because there's no Kang moving forard anymore.
Unfortunately due to the allegations Jonathan Majors (Kang) had against him, Disney cut ties with him and decided to take the films another direction. So after Loki season 2, we wont see Kang. Which really sucks cause Jonathan Majors played that roll crazy good
Jonathan Majors was great in the MCU. I think the problem with phase 5 was it was all over the place and had no overarching story to connect all the movies like previous phases. Marvel made the mistake of having the next big bad after Thanos, debut in Ant-Man to boost the box office of the worst performing MCU trilogy, because undercuts the threat of Kang, if you have him losing to the weakest Avenger. And when this movie didn’t do well and Majors had his personal problems, Kang and Majors were fired.
You don't even really have to have him lose lose to Ant-Man, just stop him being an immediate threat to their story. This film was just all over the place and really poorly done.
If y'all are looking for another series, I'd love to hear your reactions to the series The Boys. It's based on a comic about alternative super hero types
While I really hated this film, I feel like the only person who actually enjoyed the MODOK stuff cos he's supposed to weird and silly but everyone was acting like he's supposed to be some super serious villain (which he can be, all villains have different eras). But everything else for me was a massive let down so it's no surprise the MCU changed direction after this even though I think they should've stuck with it and just made it good lol
Hmm… interestingly, this is now the fourth video I’ve seen during last two days that makes reference to ”Jumanji”. I’m getting a feeling that someone is setting me up for a prank or something :-p
Unfortunately, the actor who plays Kang, Jonathan Majors, ran into a lot of legal problems, to say the least, and Marvel has radically changed their future plans to not include him.
After Thor Love & Thunder I decided to give Marvel one last chance. This is the film that was the final nail in the Marvel coffin for me. I was so disappointed and annoyed by this pile of crap, i haven't seen another marvel production since.

at least that's the latest I heard.
It's such a shame what happened to Majors and his character. I thought the setup was really good, he would've been an awesome big bad for this phase of the MCU. An endgame type of movie with Kang the conqueror as the last boss needs to happen in the future.
If you what another GOT level show watch Vikings please
They have. Just before they started doing reactions and stuff.
Try to understand Interstellar. by Christopher Nolan. Best of luck!
They have and they did, lol
What did you think about Loki s 2 ?
This leads into that.
@@gridlo I know I don't see your point
@@briwood6328 it means they haven't watched it yet
@@gridlo they have there on what if season 2 look at the pinned
To find out the answer to that question, you'll have to wait for the reactions and watch to find out 😜
We (my daughter & I) really enjoyed this movie, I even bought Antmans book for her lol
Far less terrible than its reception at the time led me to believe lol
What are you talking about
@@Nate_river_2at the time people gave this movie absolute hell. It’s a decent film marred by unfortunately having an actor with a bad rep coming out at the same time. The word of mouth spread
@@NoArmsSally ohh
No it's pretty bad
Sorry but they made the daughter so so annoying, just ruins her character from 1 & 2
Other than that, i thought this film was pretty good.
Yes, Michael Douglas is in it, yes, Michelle Pffeifer is in it. Yes, Bill Murray is it...yes, that Bill Murray. 😂
Ava Starr a.k.a. Ghost appears in the Thunderbolts movie next. Alongside Red Guardian, Bucky, Yelena Belova (New Black Widow), Ghost, U.S. Agent, Taskmaster and Countess Valentino Allegra De La Fontaine (Julia Louise Dreyfus). Plus the recast Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) to replace the deceased William Hurt. 😢
In this movie Darren Cross (Yellowjacket) got transformed into M.O.D.O.K. (Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing) an Iron Man villain created by A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics) in the comics. 😮
Victor Timely named after Timely Comics the company that eventually became Marvel Comics. The other incarnations of Kang are Immortus, The Scarlet Centurion, Rama Tut and Iron Lad. Victor Timely will next be seen in season two of Loki.
Why would you spoil the entire cast and such for Thunderbolts for them? Instead of letting them find that out for themselves?
The cast announcement came out in September of 2022. Almost two years ago. There have also been multiple trailers released.
@@roystoyscomics1361 and like all reactors reacting to the MCU for the first time, they want to go into these movies and TV shows blind. They don't look up any of this information.
Kang will return........ Didn't age to well now
😪😪😪 unfortunately... The MCU would've been sooooo great with the Kangs storylines. I was so hyped... I feel kinda bummed rewatching this movie. About what could've been. Ahh well life happens
@yannickbamona1164 at least he was cool in this movie and loki. I'm sure he'll appear again down the line
@@joebond545 He sure was, and I really hope he gets to come back to the role
So.... when I was a but a wee tot, while I knew various superheroes from animated shows, I didn't collect any comic books.
Anyway... the only thing that made me sad about this movie was that we didn't get to meet the Micronauts here in the Quantum Realm (and we didn't because I believe Marvel no longer has the rights to the toy line)
I am a HUGE fan of Ant-Man being in the MCU and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie because like the other two Ant-Man movies, it was just light-hearted enough while simultaneously offering us a genuine threat.
I'm so glad you had a good time with it as well.
When this movie came out, I was really excited about it. Now, I just get frustrated and disappointed. IYKYK
This movie is really good, but it's not relevant anymore to MCU phase😢
It is.
@@HIPsteHeero no its not, no more Kang storyline
@@Xeorfhim Yes, it is, because these events still happened, they still matter. Even without the original plan, everything that happened, including previous Kang storylines, still matter.
You're making it sound like non of this movie, or anything else with even remotely anything Kang in it, matters or is canon anymore, just because there's no Kang moving forard anymore.
Would love to see your guys reaction to The Strain tv show. The actor that plays Modok is the lead actor in the show
Let’s gooo!
@@lucasdolding6924 yeah I agree. The director of the Ant-man movies is very bad and I feel he had made 3 weak films.
If y'all are looking for another series, I'd love to hear your reactions to the series The Boys. It's based on a comic about alternative super hero types
He Who Remains(Loki) is a variant of Kang.
I SO MUCH want to answer all of your questions.... Just sayin'.
Michelle Pffeifer is always pffabulous.
Such a shame this actor threw away everything, ironically because he was a dick. They fired him
this is the only MCU i skipped. and now we get to react together!
Hmm… interestingly, this is now the fourth video I’ve seen during last two days that makes reference to ”Jumanji”. I’m getting a feeling that someone is setting me up for a prank or something :-p
i hope they bring Kang back , gotta be the same actor tho
Unfortunately, the actor who plays Kang, Jonathan Majors, ran into a lot of legal problems, to say the least, and Marvel has radically changed their future plans to not include him.

I hated this movie... Still do.
Same, it's terrible and I wouldn't say that about most other MCU films but this one really sucked tbh
After Thor Love & Thunder I decided to give Marvel one last chance. This is the film that was the final nail in the Marvel coffin for me. I was so disappointed and annoyed by this pile of crap, i haven't seen another marvel production since.
You're missing out. Guardians 3 and Deadpool and Wolverine are quite good.
Good for you 😂
@@havok6280yeah you should watch those two movies they are fire and Loki season 2 is fire as well.
Loki season 2 was 🔥
And yet here you are spreading your spite around like a four year old. If you hate it so much why are you watching this?? Get back to the basement, your mom said your nuggies are almost done.
