This video is all about the origin of Vhalaudzi and not about the origin of Vhavenda. Vhavenda are made up of different groups, and all those groups have a different story to tell. We were not necessarily the same. For instance, among us is Vhashavhi/Lemba people, Masingo, Vhangona, Vhatavhatsindi, etcetera. So if you listen to every one of them, you will come to realize that their versions are not the same
She didn’t do justice to Vhalaudzi history. I think u will need interview someone who has depth in this regard. With regard to malabi and today hapfi ndi a vhadzimu, I know iru most of them oda na Indians at the time of Mapumgunwe. Particularly Palu and Nzheti. Maybe ndi zwinwe zwe Indians used to trade na tshaka dza Mapungubwe.
Mushumo wavhudi. Great work. This is one of the few attempt to document of the Vhavenda. Advise: wearing branded clothing items takes away the authenticity of the narrative. English subtitling would have helped to broaden your audience. Secondly, an all sit-down interaction would have been better complemented by visuals related to the story, including tapping on secondary subjects to validate the primary source. The interviewer's questions can be fashioned as continuity voice-overs, editing out the uhm... ehm from the interviewer. Keep it up Mulaudzi. Thivhilaeli Makatu, Mulaudzi Simbilikiti la Tshivhodza.
Absolutely, what a disappointment. The owner, of the video should have been intelligent enough by translating whatever they are taking about, at least in English, i.e. by writing that information by typing it on the screen 😀. That would have illustrated to the people, how bad he wants the people know what they are talking about. Unfortunately, the language, sounds GREEK, even to the South African community. As it doesn't really make any sense to many people. Unless if his plan was to do that only for himsel. Which doesn't make sense either. As a result, that is a very big disgraceful to every person who is watching this video.
