I use a Canon t8i. As for lenses, I used an 18-55mm and a 24mm. The 18-55mm works great for wider shots, but zooming in for close-ups generally makes the picture look flat. I did use it for some close-ups, but I tried to use the 24mm for as many as I could. I also used the 24mm for a few wide shots, but the depth of field doesn’t go as high as the 18-55mm. Picking which lens to use really just depends on the framing of the shot, and where I can fit my camera
I did do some digital camera movements, but that’s about the extent of it. Everything else was stop-motion :). I used this clear putty stuff for the water, and it did require some planning in specific shots. Most of the time it wasn’t too difficult though
@@16bitstudios Nice work, my brain was confused it was so smooth! The only other part I thought looked CG was when Alfred ran for the poles. The jumps were so smooth they reminded my of a CGI brickfilm
@@Nightwing-bh2tn Thank you so much!!! And yeah, that shot took multiple attempts to animate. Definitely one of the most difficult shots in the whole video. Same with the opening shot of Alfred walking away from the camera
Thank you so much! I was just trying to think of a new video idea, so I was running anything Batman related I could think of through my head. When I thought of the Bat-Mobile, I thought of car washes…then I thought of the Family Guy/Simpsons crossover when Peter and Homer wash stolen cars…and the Grown Ups 2 car wash scene…it became clear to me what I had to do lol
My reaction was exactly like Robin’s the entire video.
words cannot express the emotions I feel every time I watch this on a near daily basis
This is a masterpice! I watch this every day minimum 2 times! Thank you for making this!
Ayyy it's the man himself! And thank you so much! That really means a lot!!

I have watched this like 50 times in the last 48 hours... it's still weird but I can't stop laughing!!🤣
Thank you so much!!! And yeah, I know what you mean. I think in this case though, pushing the bounds of weirdness was necessary XD

Sending this to my mum
Just who it was made for ;)
i love this
Thanks!
The batman 2 coming this summer
what the hell is the water made out of
It’s this stuff called Crazy Aaron’s Liquid Glass Thinking Putty
It would be funnier if it was Batgirl washing the Bat-Mobile insted of Alfred and Bruce and Robin's reactions where swaped
That would ruin the joke tho
@@bagsac_ exactly
bro surley make a comeback ur goated
Haha thanks man! I surely will
Is this CGI or a physical brickfilm? I can't even tell anymore!
Just some shots with the liquid look hard to pull off in stop motion.
