Oregon has some terrific players and talent at key positions. Ohio St has terrific players and talent at almost ALL positions. This game will probably de decided by which team executes best. Oregon hasn't been executing well yet this season. If they do Saturday they could win. Being the Dog is probably fair. GO DUCKS!

This is going to be an incredible opportunity. I wish Ohio State fans had more respect because I love talking to other fan bases but these guys can be insufferable. Jay is great and knowledgeable and respectful. I enjoyed hearing his take.
We can win if we stop the run, keep Howard in the pocket and play great red zone defense AND offense. I expect soft zones and tightening up in the red zone because these OSU receivers are TERRIFYING. DG has to run the ball like he tends to do in big games.

To your point about the red zone, that feels like an advantage to OSU to me. OSU's red zone offense is 100% right now, with 20 TDs and 1 FG on 21 trips, and conversely, DG's 3 INTs have all come in the red zone. I think you're absolutely right about red zone efficiency being a major key to the game.

I remember that 2021 game Kerry Combs had no business being a defensive coordinator Ryan Day gave him a chance and it blew up in his face that was his one and only season holding that position with any team outstanding secondary coach though

I just see OSU's coordinators out coaching Oregon's. OSU is more talented at every position except offensive tackle. I think we will see why Gabriel is an UDFA talent this game.

Last season Ohio State lost to Michigan's "Team of a Lifetime" by 6 points in Ann Arbor. I think this Ohio State team is A LOT better than last year's version. I think this team would have won a 'nati last season.
Oregon has trouble against the run. The only good rushing team they've played was Boise and we saw what happened but Ohio state has a better O-line than Boise
Oregon has been dominant at stopping the run outside of Boise State. Both teams stats vs Michigan State are almost identical
Ohio State did not have their 5 -star DT Tyleik Williams against M State. They will Saturday.
Sometimes you have to pay attention to schedule not the teams.. UCLA was coming off of a game against LSU and Michigan state was coming off of a game against Ohio State.. both those teams were beat up and I think that matters on the other hand Michigan state was coming off of a loss to Boston college before they played Ohio State and Iowa was coming off of a bye week had 2 weeks to prepare and got trucked... Now we will see what both teams really are
Ohio state still hasn't played anyone... Oregon played Ashton Jeanty in week two. It may not be a huge win, but at least it's a ranked team, that's more than Ohio state. I still think Ohio State has the edge, but they havent played anyone.

I agree. Oregons ability to create pressure is where this defense will make its money. They’re fifth in the country at pressure rate.

Ducks receivers are small. I think ohio state db's are gonna clamp them up and ohio state isnt gonna allow them to take the top off their defense. Ducks are gonna have to run the ball efficiently but i just dont see that happening with ohio states d-line. Thinking youre ready and actually being ready are two different things. Your LBs are extremely soft in coverage. TEs are in for a big day to stretch horizontally and that will open up running game. MSU said Oregon is better in the trenches

The roster comparison is not true. Oregon did not have as many senior nfl guys return and did not add the quality of tranfer like osu did. Spencer can push back all he wants but the osu roster is more talented and more big game experienced.
