I am too small a fry to "promote" the legendary EXPONENT, nay the greatest EXPONENT of Tagore songs - ever. A baritone yet melodious voice with the right emphasis on the lyrics, the only singer to express the songs of Rabindranath in letter and spirits......had there been a "Mark Taylor" among the singers of Rabindranath, many of the songs rendered by Debobroto Biswas would not have been "attempted" again........
It is unbelievable and surprising that one gentleman despite physical along with other constraints contributed for us more than sufficient including the current one .
someone commenting Debobroto Biswas "lacks feelings" and Vishwabharati "proscribed" him for "melodramatic presentation"!!!!!!! The wonder that a Bengali is! He sang "flatly"!!!!! First time came across such a "criticism" (???!!!) Only a "Bengali" can do this......

Tapas Dhar sorry I beg to differ. Distinguishing between emotion & natural feeling - I fail to understand....... It is only Natural to sing Tagore nos in letter and spirits which is absent in most of the singers

Goutam Das Debabrata Biswas is great for his emotion infusing rendition but his natural feeling is missing here.
