- I was first made aware of this version’s existence once I got a flood of comments calling me psychic.
It seems I had preemptively created a vocal version that, fortunately, still stands out in its unique context re the game’s original ending. But now that an official version exists 9 months later, many people believed it was really me on the track and spread misinformation on the internet!
So I come forth today, obligated to tackle this version. And of course, to prove once and for all I’m not the same vocalist.

I admittedly have been listening to you're first version, the one we'll refer to as "Sage's Sacrifice" and I only just now found this version, which feels more like "Sage's Wish" in a way, because both versions are so wonderful, so beautifully unique and so utterly fitting to her character, that it's truly spectacular~! The kind of thing to expect from a fan full of such chaotic wonder in their heart, to let loose with something so pure.

I highly doubt it. Recording for the official likely started not long after the roadmap released. She just released hers first.
@@samarius_art_and_gamesNo actually, it was originally planned from the begining but canned for unknown reasons (probably time) and was only done because of high demand being shown under a tweet from Kishimoto acknowledging the first cover with fan made lyrics in which he also explained the above fact.
So many think there is no humanity, love or goodness in the hard boiled Doctor. But Sage is the one that can bring it out. The good man, Sonic believes Eggman can be.

I love both versions of "I'm With You".
The revisited version reflects the happier and more hopeful ending Final Horizon brought to Sonic Frontiers, as well as gives us food for thought about future Sonic games with Sage's role and how she'll affect other characters; Eggman, maybe Metal Sonic, perhaps even Shadow (as the fanbase has shown).
Your version makes the original "The End" fight feel like an actual fight for freedom or annihilation, incorporating previous lyrics from the Titans' songs to further say "Look how far you've come, this battle is yours to win!"
All in all, both versions of "I'm With You" are my favorite for different reasons. If I want to vibe, I'll listen to the revisited version. If I'm down, I'll listen to your version. There is no right or superior version.
The instruments, the lyrics, the voice, the vibe, the tone, the emotion it gave me, the heartfelt message, all amazing. This is an amazing song, earns not only a like, but a sub from me.
This is such a lovely cover! This version feels like Sage is struggling to contain the joy and relief she feels about surviving the fight with The End and being able to reunite with her 'dad'.

Eggman says that Sage could be like Maria which gives me a good story idea.
Sonic has managed to change his friends and make them into their best selves during the events of Sonic Frontiers. But Shadow is different. He is too arrogant, and blinded by hate and ignorance. Which completely goes against the promise he made against Maria. But then Shadow would meet Sage and he won’t feel anymore hatred for others and himself but warmth in his tortured and wounded soul that he has been carrying for 50 years. The fandom would go wild the moment he starts tearing up.
Ik your going for shadow and stuff......but egghead already have a let's call it "copy pasted hedgehog" of he's own general robotnik made shadow BC he saw sonics further fighting eggman in the master emerald temple sooo he made shadow that G.U.N made shadow a weapon for wars which genrald robotnik was against it which theyer leader is apart of robotnik family BC we've seen him in the shadow the hedgehog (game) and eggman made metal sonic yea sure not really a creature but it still counts a hedgehog which means eggman has he's own future which shadow is not part of it

Your original vocal version was the first video of yours that I came across and I absolutely loved it. I think the official version is fantastic but I actually liked your version a bit better. I like to think of yours as the “Bad Ending” version and the official is the “Good Ending”. That in no way means your version is bad tho😅 This cover is just as awesome as the rest of your discography. Can’t wait for it to hit Spotify

Before I begin my actual comment, I would like to apologize in advance for my inadequate level of English proficiency. I am not a native speaker of the world's current lingua franca which unfortunately leads to me making numerous embarrassing mistakes being made whenever I attempt to communicate using this language. Whenever I am reminded of how I lack the ability to convey my thoughts in an eloquent manner I feel as though I have committed a cardinal sin, as though every English teacher in the world are simultaneously shaking their heads and sighing due to how utterly disappointed they are at me.
Although I know that saying sorry to those of you who are reading my comment will not change the fact that I fail miserably to write and speak perfect English, I am writing this as a way to deter a certain type of people who cannot stand poor English (Also known informally as "Grammar Nazis") from mocking me by posting unwanted and unnecessary comments detailing my every blunder. In my humble opinion, making grammatical errors should be perfectly acceptable as native speakers should not expect non-native speakers to be able to communicate in their second or third languages eloquently. If you are able to completely understand what the other person wrote, is there really a problem with what they've written? No, because the entire concept of communication is the exchange of information between other intelligent beings, which means that no matter how the exchange of information is made, as long as the information is accurately shared there is not a fundamental issue with their ability to communicate. To see it in another way, remember that someone who isn't fluent in English is fluent in another language. When you think about it this way, isn't it impressive for someone to speak a second language in any capacity? Having empathy and respect are qualities that are sorely missing for far too many people these days, especially on the internet.
That being said, I am aware that not all netizens who correct others are doing it to ridicule and shame. There are some who do so with the intent to help others improve and grow. However, displaying the failures of other people publicly will cause the person who is criticized to feel negative emotions such as shame and sadness due to the fact that their mistake has been made obvious which severely undermines the point they were trying to make in spite of their unfamiliarity with the English language. In most circumstances people are not looking for language help when they post anything online. Most people just want to enjoy themselves and have a good time on the internet which is why I would not encourage correcting other people regardless of your intentions. If you really do want to help others with their spelling or grammar, I would highly recommend you to help via messaging privately because not only will you not embarrass anyone, you can also go more in-depth with your explanation which I'm sure the other person will greatly appreciate if they want help, but I digress. I know that I've written a bit of an essay, but I hope I've made my points clear. Anyways, here is the comment I wanted to make: I like this song.
