Pray it gets better for you. I have been in the U.K. over 20 years now - But as a black Nigerian man haven worked at the highest level in the U.K. for over 15 years, I can tell you that your dreams are possible.
Unfortunately, the financial aspect is the last on most people's minds. They believe they'd be picking Pound Sterling from the floor of Heathrow terminals.
My dear sister all will be well. Just came across your channel and have subscribed. Just be patient and all will work out in the end. You made a very wise decision to leave Nigeria which is full of all sorts of security and economic issues. The UK is enjoyable when you eventually settle down. You have security, good roads, constant electricity, reasonably priced food etc etc. You made the right move my sister and all will be fine. I left Nigeria in the 1990s and haven't looked back.
Thanks for sharing your recent experience in the UK. I really commend you for educating our people. Some people might think you don’t want them to JAPA not knowing they are getting free first hand information. Abdul Omo9ja USA
I'm Scottish and even as a native it can be hard to find housing and a job that pays enough to live off. Tnere's generally more demand and better pay in technology jobs though, so hopefully you will get something sòon. I am thinking of retraining for a tech job, tbh. I hope things work out for you❤
Those of us who have been here for years need to tell people who are just coming what to expect here as its not all flowers and roses but its not doom and gloom either if one plans well😀I will talking more about this on my channel now as I have been here for 26 years

Every of the challenge you mentioned is sport on. Now imagine being here with toddlers, that is double of the challenge and no real opportunity to work
Sorry about that Dear, it will all work out for good!! Please what school and what course are you taking? I’m looking to apply for tech courses as well.
Sis the UK is racist, if your CV has an African name on it,it gets overlooked, basically they just throw it in the bin, I know because I experimented and changed my name to an English name and all of a sudden I was getting phone calls, I've just relocated to New Zealand and it didn't take me a month to land a job, mind you in the UK I spent almost a year searching for a job, and I'm.a Cyber security consultant, a job that's supposedly in demand in the UK. They hire their own people first without the experience and just train them in the job ,as long as their white. That is how they keep us economically poor. With zero opportunities, don't waste your time in the UK,either relocate to Canada or New Zealand. You'll thank me later.
Hi babes. How’s it going hope you’ve landed the job . I wanted to come by in January but I am scared of the financial implications. I don’t want to be struggling with fees . Did you pay all your tuition?? What will you say is a decent amount to come with when your coming . I hear of people not being able to survive because of bill commitment They under estimate the cost of living
I hope she replies soon.. but. My little advice first is choose a school with affordable fees and flexible payment plan preferably outside London, that will help you manage better... Try Teeside, Hull, Sunderland, maybe Scotland as well
How many years of experience do you have in tech? I'm thinking of starting my journey of learning python this month and am coming to the UK this September, can I get a tech job with just 3months of experience?
I don’t think what I currently have counts as experience in tech. I know a little more than the fundamentals of python and I’m currently studying an MSc in a tech background. The role I was talking about in the video is communications related (which I’m already experienced in) in a tech company. I think learning python is a great idea and you’ll enjoy it. Landing a job after 3 months learning? Well, there are almost no rules. The most important is how much you’ve learned and what you are able to offer to companies with your tech skill. If in three months you know enough to offer value for pay, you can most definitely get a tech job. If not, you’ll need to focus on learning more, and building your skill and you’ll land a great role eventually. Goodluck Kenny!
