  • It was a Camille Rose Naturals Day. This day M.A.D. CURLS starts off their “Wash and Go” with their latest impulse shop, the CRN Caramel Co-wash. LoriAnne was dying to get her hands on this product, find out if her obsession was worth it. Next, The Almond Jai Twisting Butter was paired with the CRN Curl Maker for a “Bomb” “Wash and Go”, as TaylorAnne would say. The results are undeniable! This “curly cocktail” was quick and easy to achieve. Watch as the magic happens✨ Thank you for watching.

    Hola Bellas. First, I'd like to start off by saying that your Mother-Daughter relationship is so admirable. It's so refreshing to see such an innovative and extremely unique UA-cam channel, such as yours. You two are too sweet, and I LOVE how talkative you are LoriAnne. I take my hat off to you lovelies, as your videos are extremely addictive. I've watched ALL of your videos back to back, and I'm highly anticipating your future videos. Now, for the Camille Rose products..I actually tried this exact combo, maybe about three weeks ago and loved it. I have really pretty 3b curls, and my hair held up for a good 4 days. My curls were shiny, defined, elongated, and not frizzy at all. Curls Blueberry Bliss gel and leave-in conditioner works great for me as well, but Camille Rose is a tweeny bit better. However, Jane Carter's Curls to Go line didn't work out at all for me. I'd say I got a day out of it. Maybe you both can do a video on one of the EcoStyler gels. The gel is so inexpensive, and there's plenty of hype about it. LorieAnne and TaylorAnne, please keep the videos coming. You girls are phenomenal, and your subscribers truly appreciate you. Much love and appreciation is sent your way, from New York City....*Danielle*

    Loved the ending!! I have tried all three butters. I agree that CR Almond Jai is most moisturizing, detangling and elongating because of the honey. It is the CR butter that is closest to a leave-in/Moisturizer. I like it with Curl Maker or any botanical gel (flaxseed). The CR Moisture Butter is thicker, more coating and pairs well with Curl Maker or as its own styler. Alone, it left parts of my hair hard (Shea Butter), so definitely needs a leave-in under and is best as a sealant. The Aloe Butter gel is a strange one. It works best for me as a "Curl enhancer" to produce plump, shiny and soft coils. I use it on top of kinky-curly knot today and under a gel for best results. The aloe + castor ingredients are so humectant that I have to seal the Aloe Butter gel with another gel, oil or sometimes pomade. If not, I end up with dull, frizzy hair the next day. In Winter, the Butter gel is so humectant that it is drying so I put it away :-)

      Minimal Assembly wow! You certainly know your CRN butters. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and the best combos to get the most effective use out of these butters. We are curious to see how each one would do with our hair. I only have to get the Moisture Butter. I want to compare all 3 at some point and share the differences and even the similarities with the viewers thank you for sharing and watching. 😊💕➿➰

    Hey guys. I have been hearing about Camille Rose for quite some time, after seeing your reviews I thought it was time to go in. I bought the cream restore conditioning cleanser, the algae renew deep conditioner, almond jai twisting butter and the curl maker. I am in love!! I was detangling as I was cleansing and that deep conditioner is awesome. The jai twisting butter and curl maker are the bomb! My hair likes a little oil so I always use the LOC and/or LCO method. The best wash and go in a long time, especially since we are in the middle of winter (dry season for curly hair). The smell of these products are incredible. My husband said my hair smelled like a vanilla cake! Thank you ladies so much for your reviews.

    First and foremost, u guys r amazing to watch ❤️❤️. Second, I recently just bought this duo after hearing about its rave. One thing I do recommend is that you don’t mix them with other products bc the scents tend to mix in an unpleasant manner (so when using this brand try to stick with products within the line). Also, within my experience I found that applying the butter, alone, straight onto my hair was different to say the least. I’m so used to using a hydrating leave-in before adding a cream product that not doing made me it odd. My question to this mother & daughter duo is that does including the leave in conditioner have a significant change?

    I love Camille Rose Naturals! I'm low porosity, I tried the Coconut penetrating treatment and my hair hated it! ☹️😩🤔 Don't know why, I thought I'd love it, I wanted to love it so much, I love the smell and the texture, but there's something in there that my hair does not like. I'm going to give another try. It just sits on my hair, even with heat. Maybe I put too much? Made my hair a little stiff. The same thing happened when I tried Shea Moisture's Coconut fusion line. They both have coconut water as opposed to only coconut oil. I don't know what to think...What do you think? By the way, how does the Jai compares to the Butter Gel (which I love)? Love you ladies!

    • @BiancaFox
      @BiancaFox 7 років тому

      Arabesque Jacob your probably coconut sensitive. I️ don’t use anything with coconut for that reason

    • @MADCURLS
      @MADCURLS  7 років тому +1

      Arabesque Jacob ok, first things first. Thank you so much for being one of our loyal viewers. 😊 we love to see familiar names. Secondly, the coconut water line seemed slightly thinner but my hair loved it so for me personally, no complaints. It definitely smells really good as do all of her products. Now, as far as comparing the Butter Gel and the Jai Twisting Butter? I (LoriAnne) personally like the Jai Butter. It is so much more moisturizing to me. The Butter Gel, though light and fluffy has a slight bit of a hold. However this same effect can be achieved cocktailing the Jai Butter along with the Curl Maker. We will be picking up the third butter and doing a comparison video on all 3 of These butters. We really want to see if they are all that different. Thank you for watching us 💕😊➰➿

    Where did you guys get those spray bottles? I love them... And I have tried the Almond Jai Twisting Butter as a twist out and I finally found something that works for my hair. My hair is a mohawk cut style and I am waiting for it to grow back, but in the meantime, it has been a task for me to find something that will elongate my curls until I tried Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter. I have never done a wash and go because I don't like the shrinkage, but I am going to be adventurous and try it. Thank you guys, I enjoy watching you.

      Lisa Jordan Why Thank you! I agree with you. I never cared for short curly hair. I was miserable last year when I had to big chop because my hair was shoulder length and I was not trying to wear it short and curly, but circumstances forced me to cut it and I have actually grown to love it. My hair was a solid 3b when it was longer but I swear the texture has changed. I would say it is definitely a combo of 3b/3c more C than B. I’m getting used to the thickness and the dryness but it is what it is. I wonder if the constant cutting and scissors just cutting it like regular hair as opposed to a so called “curly”cut is changing the texture. Speaking of cuts, I have no particular cut. My hair grows a little long and I go get it cut. No, Deva, no Mona etc...... it’s called convenience. Haha! But thank you for the compliment. I don’t believe my hair has ever had the same cut twice. It always looks different. Is your hair short or long. 😊➿➰➰💕 -LoriAnne (The Mom)

      M.A.D.CURLS Hi LoriAnne, so you just did a big chop to get this look?I have mixed hair, my hair is also a mix of 3b/3c i guess.Also more 3c than 3b curls. It's shoulderlength.I think i have to cut it short because i think my hair is fuller at the top and is getting thinner towards the ends.A half year ago i got a dry cut, but since then my hair looks so thin at the bottem, so i am scared to get it cut again.Of course i won't go to that hairdresser anymore.And i want a hairdresser that can advice me about what shape suits my face.To be honest i never dared to wear my hair down without a headband, in the past only with a headband so it was laying flat at the top.I don't know why, i have always been natural but always wearing my hair in a bun,despite the age of 31. I am ashamed of myself and i am scared to stand out at the people at the streets.Like everybody is gonna look at me,crazy thoughts right? I hope that a perfect haircut makes me more confidence, but maybe it is an illusion that a haircut will change my frame of mind.Probably i will stay this unsure and i will never dare to wear my hair down

      Lisa Jordan Hi Honey, short hair is definitely a mind set. This is nature, I got a big chop and it grew back like this. I keep the back a little more tapered and lower and the top a little fuller. Even as we speak it’s losing its shape because I’m thinking of letting it grow a little longer but I’m not really sure yet. Hair is fun and you have to just experiment. Once you experiment you gain more and more confidence. When you act confident, no matter how you feel,people feed off of your confidence and I promise you they won’t look at you like your crazy.... they wouldn’t dare because you’ll be acting confident and people will believe the vibe. Haha! You’re young enough to try new things so have fun. I’m 50and I try new things all the time. You don’t have to go drastic with a cut, just take a little off and see how you like it.....then a little more....then.....haha! Enjoy your hair 😊

      M.A.D.CURLS You're so sweet❤️.Thanks for understanding and thanks for your encouragement.Cutting my hair a little bit shorter first is a perfect idea , maybe i can learn to feel comfortable with shorter hair this way.Hopefully i take the step to cut my hair shorter before the end of this year....☺️

    Have you tried the Curl Maker by itself or just with a little oil after an amazing deep conditioner? I feel like you'd get maximum hold but I'm not sure about moisture.

    🤣OMG @6:47 cracking UP!! You ladies are hilarious! ❤️👍🏽 please consider reviewing the Ouidad 12 minute deep treatment and perhaps a conditioner from the line that provides a good amount of slip and doesn't contain coconut. I'm currently testing out the Ouidad curl quencher line, whipped curls, Mongongo oil, ultra nourishing cleansing oil, super-fruit renewal clarifying cream, botanical boots curl spray and curl recovery melt treatment mask. The curl quencher leave-in and conditioner offer absolutely zero slip😫 however the styling gel and whipped curl cream are both amazing. The mongongo oil I find is nice to have but not necessary. Everything else I've tried thus far I'm loving.

    When i add my products in fewer sections i get more volume. if i do it with lots of sections i'm trying to be real define with it.

    • @MADCURLS
      @MADCURLS  7 років тому +2

      Yes! Makes sense, in smaller sections it’s easier for the product to reach every piece of hair. I guess it depends on what look you’re going for on any particular wash day. Thank you for watching us! ☺️💕

      Rose Ace we’ve been asked this a few times. After our last Shea Moisture Review,we need to Make sure the formula that we will be testing is the latest formula. Tay how are you going to be tired, tired of talking lol. Too bad about the cowash. All though I've heard great things about the sweet ginger rinse, and I think that's the shampoo. Idk bc I've only tried the aloe whipped cream gel. Does the jai twisting butter have any hold by itself? Can you guys please review the mane choice 3-in 1 leave in, with comparing the 24kt and biotin gels? I'm so looking forward to some homemade stuffing. So mad that I can't really cook bc my frig went out ugh.

    • @MADCURLS
      @MADCURLS  7 років тому +1

      nvrnakednails1 I know, that Tay, you gotta love her......she’s fired from keeping me company while I clean. Haha! I personally liked the Co-Wash, but Tay absolutely did not. We have the finger rinse. It’s definitely laythery shampoo but it doesn’t seem to dry out my hair so it’s ok. That’s a tall order of product recommendations. I sure hope Santa brings M.A.D. CURLS some money 😂 . The Aloe whipped Gel you are referring to is the Butter Gel I believe. That gel has a slight hold to it. The Jai Twisting Butter is very creamy and moisturizing but we cocktailed it with the Curl Maker Gel to give it a little hold. Alone we didn’t feel it had enough hold. Homemade stuffing sounds delicious. I make my own stuffing as well. I usePepperidge Farm corn bread stuffing mix, parks or Jimmy Deans sausage, celery, onion, butter chicken broth etc....... omgsh, I can’t wait to eat! Enjoy your good eats 🦃😊💕➰➿

      Yayyyeesss absolutely gorgeous ladies! And that stuffing recipe sounds divine! It's only three products. The leave in is 13, biotin gel 12, and the 24kt is 14.99. No rush of course bc it is your coins after all. I would just wait until you get a really good Sally's coupon. I know Tay be like "I'm not answering her comments bc they're just too long for me lol, totally jk
