These are so far tied for my favorite set, right next to the 1994 DC Master Series Cards. Well, actually, those would be tied for second place. The 1996 Marvel Masterpieces set is #1, but it's so expensive I often just put it out of my mind lol.
@@collectorsimpact I see on eBay they're a bit pricey. It would suck to buy one and there all stuck together and ripping the art. Would you say you pulled any 10s in this box?
@@MannySimoneCards I know yeah I was really worried about that when I bought them. The Skybox cards are hit and miss, but so far I've done okay with them by just taking my time and peeling them apart gently. I'm not 100% sure if any will get 10s, but some do look pretty promising. I'll make a followup video with the cards I'll submit to PSA; I'll post it relatively soon. Overall though these cards are so nice, and even with 9s I'd be happy to have them (but 10s would be extra nice).
that Black Adam card at about 21 minutes might be worth taking care of, since there is a major movie coming out called Black Adam with the Rock playing him.
These cards are so beautiful! Good grab. Also, I take issue with your comment "Darkseid is fake thanos". Thanos was created 2 years AFTER Darkseid. And actually, most things Marvel were after DC. Technically everything Marvel is "fake DC".
Awww yeahhh! I collected these when they came out.. still have them boxed away.. I loved them.. I can SMELL them from here haha.. my favorite collection was the DC (1994) and the Spider-Man (1993) but I loved this collection you have here.. I never completed that one!
Right! These mid 90s cards are my favorite too (and nothing beats the smell of fresh cards). Agreed on the 94 DC set; I have some openings of that one on the channel too. That set is so dang nice! I need to get some of the 93 Spider-Man set too per your recommendation. I'm also looking into a Batman set or two.

Thanks for watching! Their value highly depends on condition. For the loose cards, they're mostly valued at under $1 each per card. However, if you have graded versions (especially in Gem Mint 10) those can be worth decent prices on the market. It's only worth it to grade truly mint cards though, and typically only the best characters.

Nice! Yeah I sent some off for grading, but the majority are stuck at PSA. I sent a few to SGC; I posted a video a couple weeks ago showing the grades they returned (there were 3 cards from this set in that reveal). The best ones were sent into PSA though, so the SGC ones didn't turn out too hot, but also not too bad. Either way, it's an awesome set. Happy collecting!

@@connorsherman535 Oh sweet, good luck with the Pokemon sub you're sending in! I don't think CGC is grading Marvel/DC cards at this time (which is odd), they're focusing on Pokemon and Magic. When it comes to SGC, I did a recent video on grading Marvel/DC cards with them vs PSA. In that video I do a very detailed breakdown of the differences between the two and the benefits each have over the other. But in a nutshell, SGCs slabs look great with the cards and are awesome in a personal collection. Though market value is still on the side of PSA, as they have a stronger brand in the market (they're the leader). But SGC is not a bad option, and their cases look great (plus their turn around time for grading is a month vs far longer with PSA).

Yeah it was over a year ago at this point. I think the 36 count box cost me around $350 at that time. Though now they've been going up, and likely will continue to for a while considering this current market is weak and they're still pricey. Hope your brother gets some good pulls! I found the box on Ebay, it's probably the best place to find them for now. Maybe something like comic link too, but Ebay for sure. There aren't too many expensive cards from the set yet, the rarest ones would be the holo subset cards. They're really hard to find in mint condition.
Brings back so many memories of me following so many series, dumping a bunch of parent's money, and always missing a couple cards for my base sets.
I remember owning these cards back in May 2000 when I was 7 years old
