I've been to La Paz a few times. My reason for the trip was not as special as your own. Most of my time was spent in the mountain and hill country. It's a beautiful place to visit.
You chose the cheaper way about this and you got what you paid for! It's that simple.
Well Roger, maybe I don't like to piss money away and as I said at the end of the video we were happy with the end result. In reference to what I referred to as the "Ugly", it wasn't that big of a deal, but to me a 46% difference in price is a big deal.
All things considered…you made the correct choice. I would’ve done no different.

I am buying a 57 Jefferson. Do you remember the cost of your Bimini?
My Bimini came with the boat. Cost though will depend on where you are buying it. Being in La Paz now I am having canvas work done and the cost is very reasonable. The material is the same and the workmanship is very good.
Unfortunate that circumstances would not allow you to bring her through the canal on her own bottom.
