What about 1 thim 4:6....
So what do you say about Leviticus 11: 44 which is the statement God makes after instructing the children of Israel about what to eat and not to eat?
Leviticus 11:42-45
42 You are not to eat any creature that moves along the ground, whether it moves on its belly or walks on all fours or on many feet; it is unclean.
43 Do not defile yourselves by any of these creatures. Do not make yourselves unclean by means of them or be made unclean by them.
44 I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground.
45 I am the LORD, who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.
This is the word of God.
Holiness in our bodies involves what we eat.
The first time God ever said "be holy because I am holy" was after instructing His people about what not to eat.
These are the very words of God. Not ideas of men.
Every creature of God is not sanctified by the word of God. The things sanctified by the word of God are every creature of God EXCEPT the beast, sea creatures, birds, reptiles and insects we are instructed not to eat in Leviticus 11:1-43. Every thing else has been set-apart by the word of God and should be received with thanksgiving.
And you wonder why believers are as sick as unbelievers?
We need to repent!
Why are you under the law? Per 2 Timothy 2:15 when we rightly divide we can see Paul's ministry for the dispensation age of grace. We're not under the law, but grace. Roman's through philemon is for US in the but now and where the current gospel comes from.
Obviously the false teachers have got to you as well, you're a Torah only follower, Hebrew Roots Cult or one that discounts Paul as a false teacher?
