There seems to be a lot of confusion about “toxic masculinity.” Despite what you may have heard (or what Mark says), it is not the same thing as “traditional masculinity.” Traditional masculinity is a good thing and sees manhood as part of God’s design and something to be celebrated. Toxic masculinity, on the other hand, promotes nonsense like “for me to feel like a man, I must degrade women” and “I must shame and humiliate other men of lesser status than me in order to prove my dominance.” It’s the kind of thinking that leads to frat boys parading around a college campus with signs declaring “No means yes, and yes means anal” (yes, that was a real thing that happened). If anyone out there thinks for a second that such behavior is NOT toxic, you have serious issues.
@@docabrahammd What those frat boys did is toxic. What Pastor Mark is promoting is a return to strong male fathers, and strong male leaders. A man can be strong without being toxic. We have to return to an era where fear of Yahweh and common sense rulled. We are in an era where evil rules.

BOTH men and women can be strong and independent. One *doesn't* have to replace the other. Men may lead, but they lead by example, not by forcibly dragging everyone else along with them. That's what we're trying to say! As long as you go by the "golden rule" and treat others the way you'd want to be treated, you should have no problem! It's this toxic "bro" bit, where you act as if the woman is your property instead of your partner, and whites have to be on top at all times, and you pitch a fit the moment someone says they want to do something else that makes people run from you. I agree with all or most of what you are saying, However, if we are directing Christian men, Christian women or all of the above, scripture is always required… No real Christian what’s to hear anyone pastor/leader to pontificate without real scripture to back what is being preached
If you’ve been pastored well, you should already understand the framework with which the world was designed to operate and until very recently no one questioned: God made men to lead their households, churches, businesses, cities, countries in submission to HIM. Women wear makeup and color their hair, so Trump can too.
@@briankearn6991 exactly. 👍. Most men over 50 do. I’m 45. Grey started at 35. Pm pretty salt and pepper now , but a full head of it. So I’m happy. I don’t plan to color my hair. But. I’d never rule out anything. Humans are human. Which is to say very flawed.

Sorry Pat, I’m not trans nor gay.
You’ll have to find a pick up somewhere else.
Oh Mark…not that you care what I think, but this is probably your worst video yet, and that’s really saying something. What saddens me as always is that there are some really important topics mixed in, and I agree with some of what you said in the latter part of the video. But, as usual, anything beneficial gets lost amidst all the bluster, name-calling, and preening that too often define your videos. You seem far more interested in scoring points with your audience and then congratulating yourself on your own cleverness than actually changing any minds or winning any hearts. Your arrogance and smugness are insufferable. I see no humility, no grace, and no love in anything you say. Perhaps you possess these gifts in abundance, but if you do, your videos do not reflect it.
I agree. I don’t want celebrities influencing elections; I prefer ultra-wealthy corporate plutocrats influencing the government of the masses.
Your solution is ? The system has to be changed so that $ isnt an advantage. How ? Not sure. Until then , it is unavoidable. It’s not like Joe , Obama , or the Clinton’s aren’t wealthy parts of that same plutocracy.
Cuz who needs a government who cares about the little guy, right?🙄
@@madierose so you guys think that rich people aren’t running the democrat party? 🤣
Good one 😂

All your doing is riding that money train. Like the men’s conference binding the knee at the so called round table.
We won't be able to count on you for the masculinity. You preach it but don't practice it.
I'm not 100 sure what you mean, but I am legit curious? Can you elaborate?I say that as someone who is not Mark's biggest fan.
This dude thinks Trump > Jesus
Mark doesn't want to be like Jesus he said it himself. He's more worried about earthly treasures don't be fooled by this shill.
