When this movie came to my hometown,the proprietor of the nursery school I went to took us to see it The first movie I saw and have a good memory of what happened in it.
One of my first favourite movies,loved it as a kid and will still watch it when it's on TV..The stop start animation a bit creaky but better than a lot of the movies nowadays
A rousing score by Bernard Herrmann and superb supporting actors not forgetting the work Ray Harryhousan contributed. It needs to be shown on the big screen and the actual original soundtrack composed and conducted by Bernard Herrmann to be available as opposed to newly released music from the film. So ahead of its time. It gets better as it gets older.👍
Davina Taylor looking marvellous at 83 😀. One of my all time favourites from the Golden Age of Epics centred around the Ancient World. Todd Armstrong and Gary Raymond were beautiful in their prime and Honor Blackman oozes sex appeal and class in whatever she appears in. Truly a wonderful film on so many levels.
