I love your story and even more your humbleness. I wish you the best to you and your family, you're the type of beautiful outgoing people we need in Nicaragua.
I love your outlook on life, and yes Nicaragua is not for everyone, a little less developed than most countries, but it has natural beauty in spades! BTW we love your homeland, just came back from Toronto 2 weeks ago, we travel yearly to visit family up there. Greetings from Central Florida.
Hi I'm a French Canadian who are currently Stay in Mexico since August and look forward to go to Nicaragua. I was working in construction, I'm interested to rent, work and maybe build in Nicaragua. I hope to get in touch with you if possible.
Hi Joel, nice to hear your story. We're in San Juan del Sur at the moment. We can see why you fell in love with it. We were in Utila last year and we got stuck on the island for a few extra days due to bad weather. Downside of being on an island!
Thanks! You just earned yourself a sub! Keep us updated with Nicaraguan living! Maybe do a video about the language barrier and how you overcome it? And also maybe a video about the climate? :)
Love your videos! Great info about living and investing in sjds. I would love to see some videos showcasing individual locations... Remanso, Marsella, etc. Keep up the good work!
Excellent, Joel. I just subscribed to your newsletter. I'll be in touch with a couple questions about Nica and some meds I need while living there. --Jack
Thanks for all that information Joel! I currently live in Massachusetts, but I am originally from Peru. I am looking to relocate possibly somewhere in Latin America and looking into real state investment opportunities as well. I will be staying in San Juan del Sur for a month in March. I hope to be able to figure things out this year and this video was extremely helpful! Thank you !

Thanks Joel, waiting out the pandemic in Alberta and just so you know, it is still cold. Now there is light at the end of the tunnel and the vaccine will be rolled out soon, too many hoops to jump through to get to Nicaragua now but very soon I will get back, I miss it very much.
SdS looks very nice small town etc…….some comments on other sites stress fact that it’s a young persons spot because of surfin* etc…..What’s you4 opinion for retirees etc.tks
