Please the Ghanian government should make a law to prevent the play of foreign music.. I am yet to see the artists come together and put forward that proposal instead they are busy fighting Nigeria.... If you say Nigeria has such a law, whether real or imagined, you should do the same..In fact don't do 80/20, do 100/0.. . I hope when that is done Ghana music will be able to go global too..
If the Ghana music industry and government implement such law all Ghana artist will become local champion artist. Nigeria artist spend a lot of money to promote their music all over the world so Ghana artist should leave their comfort zone and move around and promote their songs and Ghana citizen can also help them stop waiting for Nigerian artist to promote you because they have a lot of artist to promote their songs. Nigeria have overed Ghana a lot but they are selfish to utilize it well. Ghana artist are all selfish and self hate they can't help each other you guys should learn from Nigeria
@@anthonyanyanwu1835 Please let them do it, let them ban it, let them 100/0 let us hear abeg
Please stop giving them advice and wisdom....
Please Ghana stop playing Nigeria music and stop inviting Nigeria musician period.i and many other Nigerians support this pls stop make we hear word.
@@mrmike1582 They won’t take it anyways because ALL they want to do is beef & Hate
Rex Omar.... U talk true oooo. May God bless you. If all think like you, our entertainment industry will change drastically
Cheers 🥂
It will be better if Ghana can ban Nigerian music and all its entertainments from entering the country. They can as well ban Nigerian artist for coming to their country in order for them not to blow. Stop any collabs between their artist and that of Nigeria. Since visiting Ghana is now assumed as coming to learn, steal, copy one thing from their great masters. Nigeria is so empty of ideas, so their artist always come to learn. Every great personality in Nigeria must go through you people .How come you are not blowing being the owner of the ideas. The only way out is just what have been mentioned
I taya oo .. that will be the best option . I pray they can do that
I pray they do it too,am tired of Ghanaians noise
Let then ban Nigeria and see whether Nigeria will come down and Ghana move up Musically
@@jimohmuradiff7861 Me too, as a Nigerian, I hope soo too
U didnt make any sense my bro..remember nigeria's population helps ur artiste..accept the fact that your nigerian artiste come to Ghana to copy and learn..but the nigerian artiste always use their population to push and also u guys always are very ungrateful..u dont give Ghanaian artiste the same love we show u....Rex Omar said it all..The self hate is too much..God bless our homeland Ghana..
Let's put Nigeria aside, which other African countries is Ghanaian artistes making waves like the Nigerians? It clearly shows that Nigeria is not the problem of Ghanaian artistes from making a global commercial success. Shatta wale must consider that this is a stiff competition and they must be ready to give it whatever it will take. instead of calling a pity party.
Exactly!!!!
I think it is high time everybody stop with the stupid lie of Nigeria implementing a Music law... That's bullshit. I have lived in Nigeria my whole live and there is not such law.
Thank you brother. Tell them, no such law in Nigeria.
It just envy and jealousy on steroids
Maybe not laws but rules as to how foreign musical contents get on their platforms. Come on man if there’s nothing like that then you guys don’t have an industry then
@@bennyfrimpong1819 don't worry about us.... you can't compete with us.... fix yourselves and quickly ban Nigerian music in your country .... and let's see hw dat wuld work out
@@bennyfrimpong1819 Can you hear how absurd what you are saying is? No country can progress with laws like that. Improve your music...make it more internationally appealing, promote it like a business rather than a hobby and leave ego out of it and see if it won't grow. It's like any other business....you have to offer value.
But Nigeria is not the only country in Africa, what about other African countries. Why's Nigeria always on Ghanaians lips. Ghanaians should stop the hate against the Nigerians first and embrace peace with their big brother (Nigeria). I can't tell them to stop the comparison because the Nigerians still compared themselves with the Americans.
Amanpiano is played ALL over Ghana & Nigeria and no One is complaining about that
Because Nigeria has a numbers and Ghanaian helped them but they don’t help Ghanaian
@@hashimseidu5534 help in what sense. It's just hate and jealousy. I can see our Nigerian brothers here supporting their country as they do all the time against any other in every other case and that is one thing I admire about them but not Ghanaians....we always sell our own out too easily..this world is naturally political..on the global stage you prioritize support for your own at all cost before all other (yet still appreciating the quality in the others) and you shall reap both the economic and social benefits locally and internationally. Even as we appreciate others, Ghana must learn to put our own on top of the list just as we see our Nigerian brothers do... it's not xenophobia, it is just patriotism. One Ghana, One Africa. ✊🏾
If you say so. But using and F word for collection of people is disgraceful for an a list musician, yet he is being pampered. He can agitate in a more civil way, not in such mannerism depicting someone who is influenced by something
@@victornwanze3836 Yeah that was stupid, i think most Ghanaians not surprised due to his many outbursts against his fellow artists and i think most Nigerians intelligent enough not to worry about him cos in reality Shatta actually respects and have love for Nigerians it was just a moment of madness triggered by the crowd and hype he received as a result
@@theradicalking9094 hmm, u might be right, momentarily hyped by croud
@@theradicalking9094 If he truly had respect for Nigerians like you claim, he would have apologized after that day. Stop trying to defend a foolish man because he is Ghanaian. I can remember when Idris had a fight with 50cent in those days, we Nigerians did not support Idris because we knew it was coming from envy and we also know that our songs were not at that level yet so we kept on putting pressure on our artist so they can do better music and this is part of the reason our music industry became huge not by preparing an artist that is doing the wrong thing because he a Ghanaian then how do you expect them to improve?

They are not loyal to the game, Ghanaian media
Because am waiting for dat to see shatta at your show hammer thanks
Ghana should have legislation or just ban Nigeria music by law. This will stop the insults but it won't change our industry
Exactly!!!!
Why are we Nigerians working with this people. We need to start a campaign and boycott any Nigerian artists collaborating with Ghanaian artists. I don’t think any Nigerian artists will touch Shatta again anyway, he is probably blacklisted from Nigeria, but we need to target the new ones like Kidi and the rest. We in the diaspora (Uk, Europe and America) who made Afrobeat go global, must not support any Nigerian Artist collaborating with Ghanaian artist. If a Ghanaian artist is doing a concert in the Uk, please my people, DO NOT GO, Please spread the word, UK, AMERICA AND NIGERIA, UNTIL THE XENOPHOBIA STOPS.

Nigeria do not have any 80% to 20% legislation. There is no law like that. Please cite such law.
Well, one strategy the Ghanaian creative industry can take from the Americans is that, in the United States, there's something call LOBBYIST, what they simply do is to be funded by interesting parties, businesses, etc., to help influence members of the legislation body to help write laws into effect to help their interests. Perhaps, it's about time, all the organizations within the creative art industry come together and device and implement such strategy to help their causes.
god bless you
Rex!!!!! U said it All .Wisdom!!!!! Speaks
General Rex has shown maturity herrrrh!! You hit the nail right in the head . Soo on point
I am Ghanaian but the truth must be told, Ghanaian music is not developing, its still a local thing not global at all, the same old jama style whack videos whack lyrics, whack story line, whack promotion... I could name more, for example the artists are not developing too, sarkodie still has the same style bit polished, shatta still releases 1000 tracks a month instead of one clean album, who wants all this crap in this global entertainment market, I live abroad n they even play nigerian music in the white supermarket, so come one give us a break and try to put more hard work into it
I'm disappointed in this saying bro, music evolves, it's the time of Nigerian music we'll enjoy it. But its not a weakness for Ghanaian music. Compare contents in Ghanaian and Nigerian musics, and come back to tell me they do better music than Ghana. shatta wale is a dancehall artist, stop comparing artists! Everyone is good in their own style.
They will attack you now because you're saying the truth Nigeria spend time and money to promote thier songs 🤣🤣
@@isaacgyasinkrumah7107 yes pls they do, I ve been following music ever since and they ve the recipe to create hits whereass Ghanaians still doing their old local style of music, listen they play nigerian music in German supermarkets and one can't guess the origin of the sound, it's simply world music, even their old school artists are able to adapt to the new sound, listen to kcee and wande coal these days and compare sark who is still doing hard core hiphop without any useful content, Burna boy for example has a message and it sounds pro africa, man they got sound message and branding
As Accra people including the authorities of vgma trying to bring asakaa guys down. But they saved gh music industry.

It is very untrue to say because of the legislation in the Nigerian music industry, no Ghanaian artiste never had a break in Nigeria. Please find out if VIP did not penetrate the Nigerian industry and even got signed to KenIs music in Nigeria. If your work is commercial enough it will surely be a hit in Nigeria. Lastly, Nigeria is not the problem of the Ghanaian music industry, even if Nigerian artistes will not come to Ghana again. There is absolutely nothing that justifies being treated with so much disdain in another country, for doing nothing.
Who told them Nigerian gat legislation that restrict foreign music 🎶. I never heard this. Back then wey everywhere nah foreign music 🎶 we Dey dance to.

But it seems so many like urself, as usual despiteful and arrogant as u can be jump to silly conclusions and comment foolishly.
I don’t talk like this on or off social media, but sometimes man’s got stoop to ur level and give u a match.
You can take ur GT bank, Chatter House, Zenith, take ur people out and everything u think Nigeria is entitled to that is “sustaining” Ghanaian economy (as u think in ur dreams) and see if Ghana as a sovereign country will not continue to grow in every area of development. This is a great interview….Rex Omar nailed it…..Ghanaians don’t support each other….We Envy each other in every aspect of life…😡
💯 true
Papa Rex thank you paaah. Wiseman
DJ cobby told me the same thing on Facebook, he said Ghanaian musician should pay him first to play their songs
And you're not getting him again 😭 I'm sad
There is nothing like music law in Nigeria. Look at this Jealous Spain cell of Ghana.
Ghanian artists should do shows outside Ghana, like US, UK, South Africa, etc, stop the blame game
The truth is that Shatta should work harder
If you make good music you will get recognition just as Black Sheriff did with other young Ghanaian Artists like Yaw Tog and his Kumerica brothers.
But ask yourself or ask Shatta wale how many Ghanaian Artists has is promoted or support if he not dissing them then he is looking for something from them.
Shatta perform on his shows/concerts alone when he is suppose to promote and invite other Ghanaian Artist just as Stonebwoy does always with other Artists and same as Nigerian Artists too.
Shatta wake is only envy of Nigerian Artists not just about supporting Ghanaian industry because Nigerians are supporting Ghanaian music industry.
Wizkid signed Artist from Ghana (R2bees & Efya)even be he signed Artist from Nigeria.
Tiny did a song kiss your bride it trends all over Nigerian and Africa.
Sarkodie has always been part of the business dropping hits for Africans on like Stonebwoy and samini even VIP and last Castro songs are still banger and hits on Nigerian and Africa playlist.
But Shatta only fight and insults his fellow Ghanaian Artist all in the name of Dancehall because he feels he is copying vybz kartel.
Look at medikal he claims as brother today.
Medikal started trending in Ghana industry after he did a collaboration with Nigerian Artists Maleek Berry and Falz..but were was Shatta then.
He went on hook with Kumerica boys because he has seen they might take over the Ghana music industry from DanceHall to trap music.
First of all if Ghanaian wants the industry to grow or be promoted as they see the Nigerian music industry they should first allow every category of music in the Ghanaian and Africa system,Not just holding on to Dancehall alone which is why Shatta wake feels he can just wake and insults an Artist in Ghana who is in a different music category like Rap music ,RnB, Afropop and even high life music.
I wonder why people and Shatta wake says Nigerians or Nigerian music industry don’t support Ghanaians when Nigeria artists are even using Ghanaian language to make songs that even Ghanaians and other countries fall in love with the songs.
Talking about Nigeria industry you will see that the industry is open for every category of music not just one type of music as Ghanaians promotes only Dancehall or Raegge .
But in Nigerian what ever type of musics you do provide it’s a good song and has good meaning it goes viral and trends all over.
Shatta wale problem is that Nigerians in Nigeria really do not recognize him unlike other Ghanaian Artist as he claims he is the king of music in Ghana insulting those who can help him.
First of all you won’t get a better or large numbers of votes when you are dissing other Artist whose Fans can help you.
Look at the Nigeria music industry and ask yourself how many times have you heard them insulting theirselves in their songs as Shatta wale always does.
If Shatta wale thinks he makes good songs from dissing or love dissing as his music strategy for business he should go to Jamaica where the dancehall artist diss there selves.
That’s why he has not won any major awards like BET or Grammy nominees.
Nigerian music industry believes in good music and not dissing and fighting.
As he said Nigerians love doing love songs but ask him what does he talk or teach in his songs, insults, guns , pussy and those dirty words.
Shatta Wale should be caution and stop using words that will divide brothers because Nigerians and Ghanaians are one 🇳🇬🇬🇭🌍💯
Shatta Wale or his manager should have connect with other Nigeria artists if he wants promotion in a matured way but not insulting the Nigerian music industry and went to media to say he is the next Fela.. pls advise Shatta wale not to compare himself to Fela because he is not near to his feet or his even closer to Fela fingers.
Shatta Wale should work and love his own industry and that’s how he will be love by others.
He should go back to promote and help those who have help and supported him before unlike D sheriff and Ras Kuku and so many others Ghanaian Artist.
Nigeria Artists did not go to America to ask for promotion but the Americans are listening to their songs and see they are doing good music.
Stonebwoy has more international features and collaborations than Shatta wale because he does good music.
Hard work pays and Shatta wale should work and stop looking for bloggers to support him or whom he will put in prison as he said on social media 😂
Well Paah Paah Paah to Shatta.
