The water has gone around the dam and created what is effectively a natural spillway, but the dam itself is fine. Lots of debris clogging the dam itself which caused the issue, but no structural issues.
Great photojournalism! Not. I don't think I have ever seen such terrible shooting. Vertical ffs! Ever heard of rotating to landscape? When you shoot like this every TV, phone and monitor that views it sees it about 1/4 the size it should be. Your framing forces it to zoom out and the result is a tiny video. The worst.
Agree. Watching video shot in portrait format on a desktop monitor is so frustrating. The proliferation of cell phones seems to have caused folk to act like our eyes are one on top the other instead of side by side.
@@leonardjones7707 Even on my phone, which I always view in landscape (when the video is shot properly). When vertical even when the video is full frame, full res it cuts off major parts of the viewable area that the eye naturally wants to see. Feels like looking through a keyhole. I think it is just non thinking and lazy, plus they see so many other incompetents framing this way it's like the pose of the dumdum now.
Jonah : In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful [10:24] The similitude of the life of the world is only as water which We send down from the sky, then the earth’s growth of that which men and cattle eat mingleth with it till, when the earth hath taken on her ornaments and is embellished, and her people deem that they are masters of her, Our commandment cometh by night or by day and We make it as reaped corn as if it had not flourished yesterday. i wish people would learn to video with their phones horizonal instead of vertical
So do !! it's so annoying! And so unnecessary!
Why is this in portrait instead of landscape.
I hope the old farm house is spared, although that seems unrealistic.
This video is from yesterday! The house is hanging over the river today! Get with the program people!
Looks like it already failed.

Very good video, prays to everyone affected.
Takes "millions of years" for Grand Canyon to form , takes minutes to really happen
You think the grand canyon is just loose soil? 😂😂😂
Hold the camera still ...... way too much movement
Hope Hruska house makes it and definitely the store. We send love and staying in prayer for the family there.
Is that electrical hard ware caught on the edge?
Rushing water respects no one.
Can see the bank falling away so pans to dam wall missing all the action classic
What is down stream that is going to be getting all this rain and whole trees? 😮
People. Homes. Cars. Business. Animals. Etc
@@tamraprice09 that shouldn't have been built there.
@@J-ge7qe no argument here
There must be some heavy rain upstream to have all that water flowing without any drop in lake level.
That river runs north
When did the house drop in? It's not there anymore.
This was way earlier, the house is there, just not close to the cliff yet.
@@Gfysimpletons I just noticed that, thanks

People are losing all they have worked for , and you are concerned with how the video was shot. What an ass .

@@jameshisself9324 I totally agree.
No, this dam isn't in danger of failure. Please stop sensationalizing stories like this.

Sad 😢
Bluest sky compared to the flooding going on.
The Dam has failed, the need to stop that water on the side
I wonder if this is what it looked like when... They flooded those black townships...such as lake Lanier?
Why is this funny?
Way to go starvin marvin and Darla
