I owned all Lennon/Ono records. “Baby’s Heartbeat” was the best.
I was crazy and bought everything. My favorite “Electronic Sounds” by George Harrison is still one of my al time favorite release EVER

I had 2 copies of the 'Wedding Album.' I had to special order them through our only record store in Brownsville Texas. 1 survived not being stolen while I was drafted, and the other suffered sever damage from water where it was stashed by my 'mum.' I had the 'Slice of Cake' until the 2008 crash and eventually I couldn't even keep the Photo.....

Two Virgins, Life With the Lions/Unfinished Music #2 (I’m going by memory at the moment) and Wedding Album were not that great.
But your dad was phenomenal at two things that I wish he’d continued with: Feedback & his crazy antics like he did so excellently on the Christmas Club Flexi’s.

Sean is a perfect successor to John, in the sense that the humor is on point. Julian however is more serious.
Julian might be “more serious” because his dad beat his mom and straight up abandoned him at the age of 5, then gave his entire inheritance to the groupie who got his dad hooked on heroin. Just a thought…

i wish you would write about growing up with a fascinating artist, beautifully educated and legendary peace activist for a mother. that would be really interesting. yes, she has been maligned in a ugly and malicious stupid way, but there is a world of people who admire yoko ono and find her fascinating.
I got one question, what were John and Yoko doing in the record? That’s what I want to know. It sounded like lightning and stuff and they said each other’s name and it confused me.

It's unavoidable that children will possess qualities that resemble their parents. His father had a wicked humor that was endearing, and it seems that he was gifted with this lovely quality as well.

Omg..when are people going to see that relationship for what it was...Young people who got pregnant. He married her and did the right thing!! At a time when his career was taking off and it could of destroyed it! Give him some credit. In Cynthia's book she stated herself there was not any pictures of the event and so she created drawing herself being an artist. Thsts very telling though if she was a young girl deeply in love and didn't take one photograph? Anyway you can't compare 2 relationships. One he chose as a man and one that chose him as a boy. He had resentment and no father himself. So as a young man I think he did his best. You can't love John without excepting he was just a man with faults.

John did what he did instinctively and it was the right thing to do but we should give Cynthia credit for being the loyal and modest wife she was; she was there for him and embraced him physically and emotionallay in his transition from teenager nobody to the young Beatle and she was there for Julian when John couldn't be. One can't help but ponder that John recognized this deep down inside, that Cynthia was a responsible loving woman and caring mother who would never have let John down, and I believe loved him to the end. She should have taken photos, she should have got tough and abrasive now and then, but I don't think that that was the woman she was. Both of them RIP
